Coffee is average so I suppose that's worth a star. Clientele are obnoxious, prissy and uptight. Staff a bit snobby but they will take your order. Avoid the pastries... Much better options five minutes away on Capitol Hill.

Pleasant place for coffee and pastry or lunch. I had a very tasty baguette with turkey and pickled onion. Also a snickerdoodle cookie. Recommend both and recommend this place. Both outdoor and indoor tables are available.

Terrible service, Waited 20 min for two coffees and two sandwiches. Shop wasn't busy, se earl people walked in and received orders ahead of me. when I finally asked if they lost my order they said no it was ready. They just forgot to do anything with it. They were unapologetic about the sloppy coffees and cold sandwiches. First and last time in here. There is a shop in either direction and both are so much nicer. Like they actually want my money. Also drinks were wrong.

The menu has many items which are out? The service is incredibly slow. It took several minutes until someone arrived at the counter and then a very long time until my food was ready. Feel like this spot is in a slow decline.

Stopped by for a croissant today. 7$ and the croissant was mediocre. The lady threw the croissant down on the counter without looking at me or saying anything and then I was promoted to decide between a 2 or 3$ tip. Very off-putting. Prefer pastries and coffee next door at Arosa.

Please save your money and go elsewhere. I can’t even believe the audacity this bakery has to sell clumpy watered down matcha lattes and hot chocolate that taste like dirty water. This place needs some serious revamp in terms of what they’re serving. I’m so mad I spent money at this establishment. There is also lack of flow. The barista writes the drink order on a piece of paper by hand and uses a magnet to place it on the espresso machine. They forget to write the name sometimes so the baristas just yell out what the drink is and leave it on a mat with no label on the cups to who the drink belongs to. A simple label machine would avoid such chaos. Staff are nice and very sweet. I can’t blame them for the lack of quality in the drinks as they are just following instructions per management/owner. The staff did offer to make a different drink but I did not want to taste more disappointment.

A little pricy, but the food is exceptional. The Green Tea Brioche is the best thing I've ever tasted. Considering all of the competition, this place has a good chance at keeping up. The two things that should be fixed are the prices and service. People here should be a little more friendly, especially when the customer is in the position to tip.

The food is FABULOUS, but had a really bad service here… I was stuck in bed with covid and ordered here. I get a text from the driver: “employee doesn’t know how to make espressos”. They also didn’t even put in the order or call me, so they driver waits even longer. By now, 45 minutes has passed. After all that, the employee says they’re out of another food item. More delay. Now, an hour later, the pre-made food from a bakery less than 2 miles away still hasn’t arrived. I don’t know if this person was new, but she did not understand the assignment. I felt bad for the driver who was very patient and communicative. I’d give it a 1 star if not for the amazing food.

Nice French style place! Would like to check all your pastry and desserts! For now: coffee is good, stuff was nice and warm , we had some small talk. I like the idea with mini croissants!!! 🤪🤪🤪 unfortunately they were a little over baked (too dark and crunchy) the same as almond croissant. Opera cake doesn’t have coffee or chocolate taste…the only what I felt was a huge amount of almond extract…😳😳😳 I’m a baker. I worked in authentic French bakery in Boston. And I don’t want you take it as a bad review. Nonono please🙏 do your job, I wish you best, just check some moments:)

Adorable, chic, yet cozy cafe... perfect hide-out and pig-out for weekends. Great staff and delicious coffee menu. Very clean and threshing decor. Food is just beyond... fresh yummy pastries in french tradition, savory items, and all the while the rows of macaroons taunt you and call your name. Hard to leave without tasting one or two.
