Uncooked pastry. Not really worth the price. Unfriendly staff. Will not be coming back

The sandwiches and desserts here are so good! You won't find better cafe food for the price this close to Seattle. They have a nice selection of wines, too. I recommend the salami and olive sandwich and the mushroom soup. For dessert, the chocolate mousse cake is incredibly rich and satisfying. Their drip coffee is excellent. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Everything is very clean, the space is well lit but not too bright, and the tables and chairs are well-suited to cafe dining. Easy access from the 11 bus.

Food is ok; not the highest quality, tho they try hard for presentation. The staff isn't the friendliest either, if not outright rude. However, one employee was completely unmasked when she came out of the back room, and struggled to even find one before she started making espresso drinks. I won't be back, and I recommend not wasting your time if you're not a local; the short walk from the neighborhood is it's best feature.

I stopped in with a friend around 8:30am after a walk around the arboretum with a friend. We got.. 7 different pastries, a miss of savory and sweet and holy moly they were all so so good! We shared a French press coffee that was very good. The staff was helpful and friendly. Seems to be enough seating - some high tops and some regular short tables. Not great for a big party, the tables are all small, but seems to be a place to get takeaway rather that dining there.

Food and coffee are good. The staff - sadly, they act quite detached and not at all welcoming. I hope they can improve their customer service to match the food quality. And "please" don't put water out for dogs unless staff can maintain it.

I don't usually post bad reviews, but feel like I have to say something about the experience I had here last week. I saw some really troubling behavior from someone I assume to be a manager. I overheard her being quite cruel to one of her coworkers (employees?), openly criticizing them for trivial aspects of their performance, and from my perspective seeming to enjoy their discomfort. I also heard her making rude comments about me to another coworker, which is really unprofessional and frankly a little hurtful. I'm sure most of the people who work here are perfectly lovely, but I can't stand it when I see people abuse positions of authority.

Great service, a great cup of coffee perfect for a walk in the Arboretum! Try their Brioche buns (if they have any left 😉)!

Came by for some takeout sandwiches and pastries using toast through their website. Unfortunately there was an issue with the toast order not coming through to their POS system! We ended up having to wait a long time for it but they handled it so nicely. They made us some coffees and brought us some treats while we waited and made it right. I’d recommend calling for takeout instead for this reason. Very sweet people behind the counter. I think the owner was there on this day? she’s French and so passionate about the bakery and was so kind. The barista was awesome too and he made us some gorgeous coffees. The baguette sandwiches and the pastries were the stars of this order, so good. Exactly what we were after: subtle with high quality ingredients. I saw they had a cute wine bar add on, I’ll have to come back with my girlfriends for happy hour or something. Great bakery!

The coffee was really good. The sandwich i got was very overpriced, tiny and not even good. Nearly seemed like a practical joke. Service was flat, not friendly.

Had a delicious sausage, egg and cheese. Very unique bread made this traditional breakfast sandwich interesting. Service was ok, but I appreciated the attention from the server once she realized our coffees were taking too long (nothing crazy, just longer than our food).
