A perfect spot for before a paramount show! Ty was amazing. Very attentive, kind, informative, and made us feel very welcome. The First Crush drink was our favorite and the Focaccia was wonderful. Thank you!

The staff was amazing. The food was just bland. I was hoping for some good Italian food but it was just tasteless. I feel bad for the food review cause the staff was great. Had a focaccia bread ( tasteless and cold) Caprese salad ( mozzarella tasted like it was from Costco)and a margarita pizza( a couple pieces of basel did not have much taste). Automatic 20% gratuity.

Stopped in for a solo dinner before a show at the Paramount right across the street. No reservation needed on this Friday night, I walked in and was seated right away at a bar top looking straight at the theater. The low lighting and warm wood made it a cozy contemporary feel. Gigantic portions for one, the Italian Sub Salad would've been easily sharable. The Tagliatelle pasta combined interesting flavors of butter, balsamic vinegarette, and parmigiana reggiano. Robust flavors for sure! A couple glasses of an imported red recommended by the server was a great accompaniment. I appreciated the host explaining the auto gratuity of 22% while I was being seated. He was very polite, kind and personable. Located at the corner of 9th & Pine, accessible from the Convention Center as well.

We were not greeted immediately on 5/17/26. After a few minutes a female said she’d be with us shortly but did not. Another minute or two went by before a smallish male employee asked if we had reservations, we did not, so he rudely said he’d have to “check”. Then sort of huffed as he walked away. A few mins later a very kind male host quickly escorted us to a table, where Maddie was our server. She was amazing! Very attentive. The food was really good but the initial non-welcoming attitude of the first two employees really set a bad tone. We only stuck around because we were really hungry and the wait at the Carlile Room was 45-mins. Maddie and the second male host were great, but from our experience and a few other reviews it looks like this place needs to train a few of its employees on customer service.

We ate at Bombo before seeing The Phantom of the Opera on May 17, 2026, and while the food was genuinely very good, the way management handled a major accident was honestly one of the strangest restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Our table of four had just received our drinks when the server tripped and dumped all four drinks across the table and onto three members of our party. The table was soaked, menus were ruined, and we all had to jump up immediately. Thankfully no glass broke. The issue wasn’t the accident itself — accidents happen. The issue was the complete lack of urgency, empathy, or professionalism afterward. The server ran off, and we were left standing there for quite a while before anyone came to help clean up. Nobody apologized. Nobody brought towels or napkins to help dry us off. We had to ask ourselves to be moved to another table. Then a manager came over and jokingly said, “I see you guys are spilling tea over there,” which honestly felt bizarre considering three guests were covered in drinks. The food and service after we were reseated were good, but by the end of the meal we were shocked nobody had still apologized. When we finally asked to speak to the manager about some kind of accommodation, he acted inconvenienced, claimed he “didn’t realize anyone got wet,” and then later made another joke saying, “I covered the iced teas,” after removing about $100 from our ~$250 bill. To be fair, the discount was appreciated and generous. But what stood out most was that at no point did anyone simply say, “We’re sorry.” Good food can’t fully make up for poor hospitality and dismissive management. Unfortunately, after this experience, I wouldn’t return.

I recently visited this Italian restaurant and, unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. To start, the service was lackluster; the employees didn't seem like they wanted to be there and were not particularly attentive or welcoming. The overall atmosphere felt uninviting as a result. As for the food, it was okay but nothing to write home about. The dishes were very greasy, and the flavor was just average. However, what really caught me off guard was the surprise gratuity charge. My meal of potato and meatballs went from around $25 to $32, and this extra fee wasn't mentioned anywhere until I received the bill. It felt like an unfair surprise. Overall, there are likely better Italian dining options out there that offer both better service and more transparency about their pricing.

Food and drinks were fantastic. When drinks were brought, they accidentally spilled them on us. We asked for another table but no apology was given by the manager and he even made a joke about it. When asked for some type of comp (since none was offered) he did take off a considerable amount which was greatly appreciated. Based on service alone, I was not impressed with my first time here. Not sure I will return.
