Maddy worked hard to make are visit perfect. Food was amazing and filling great visit to this Italian restaurant great location across from Paramount theater..
A few things to note before going: 1. 20% automatic gratuity is added. Take that as you will. Some people love it, some people don't. 2. 21+ only can go to the bar area. If you have kids, ask for a table. 3. The pizza is mid size and can be used as good leftovers. 4. The drinks are a little overpriced but knowing it's located at a convention center, it makes sense.
Ask for Ty! He’s super friendly and gave great recs. Still dreaming of the la Capra pizza with prosciutto 😛 I’ll be back! 10/10 food and experience.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE Experience! I feel like I was duped, hustled, bamboozled!!! Externally the restaurant is gorgeous! I wanted to show my wife a good time and take her to a nice restaurant. This place was a bad idea. The appetizer chips were burned, hard, and seasonless. I tried to make the best of it and stay positive to impress my wife. For $30, she ordered some non-seasoned, meatless, tasteless noodles dish. For $30, I ordered a tasteless and burned lasagna. The optics of the lasagna are beautiful. It looks delicious.. Upon 1st bite, I can hear Dave Chappelle saying, "Gotcha Sucker!" The Sangria is watered down, I've had better long Islands ice teas at Applebee's. The wine was yuck! The water was warm... and to top it off, we had a 22% gratuity added. I'll be contacting management for a refund.
This restaurant is located right at the main entrance to the Summit building of the Seattle Convention Center. It has a large patio that opens onto the entry courtyard. I had talked to several people who ate there prior to my visit, and they all said the food was excellent but was very expensive. Quite true. I feel like this isn’t just an expense due to convenience, but because the food and service is very good. If you look at the fine print on the menu picture I uploaded, you’ll see a statement about how they pay staff and that a 20% gratuity is included in all bills. I went with a friend. We sat at a cute two person table on the patio. The staff did a great job of accommodating for my friend’s allergy. We shared an asparagus dip and house-made potato chip appetizer; it was incredibly delicious, but about half our chips were crumbs that were impossible to dip, but when we asked for more chips, the server had more brought out without quibbling. I had the Caesar salad, which was huge and very fresh. I had a local cider from Yonder along with it. My friend had the chicken parmigiana, which was huge. She gave me a piece of her chicken, and it was very good.
Had an awesome experience at BONBO tonight thanks to Tae behind the bar. The service was incredible from start to finish — super attentive, friendly, and just brought an amazing positive energy the whole night. She really took care of us, made great drinks, hooked us up, and made the entire vibe even better. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Definitely one of the best bartender experiences I’ve had in Seattle.
Food, ambiance and the amazing customer service that Victoria M brought too us was amazing 👏🏻 😍 it was our first time here and in Seattle and we definitely will be back again to try more food from their menu! Everything was 10/10
Cute and relaxed vibes. The fettuccini and burrata were delicious! The sour was also refreshing and yummy. Our server Tay was very kind and hospitable. Will return for sure!!
Above and beyond - I came with my elderly morher after we were scammed by stubhub at the Paramount and the staff overheard our predicament. They were so nice and accommodating to my mother. Amazing hospitality and even comped our meal. The Italian sub salad 🔥 btw!
Overall, Bombo is a great spot for an elevated-casual dining experience. A curated menu of apps, pizzas and pastas - more doesn't mean better. I had the Funghi pizza and it was perfect. I'm not a pizza connoisseur but I know what I like - thin, crispy crust and tasty, simple toppings (no red sauce.) This mushroom pizza checked all the boxes. And pretty good size too - med/lrg slices. Shared the calamari app and it was delicious - tender calamari, lightly breaded with some kinda of tasty aioli. The only downside - it's kind of pricey for pizza, even chic, quality pizza. For two pizzas and the calamari app - $94. Kinds steep. There is an automatic service/gratuity so no additional tip was required. I did appreciate that the person who sat us disclosed the fee upfront so no surprises. It's a cute restaurant - nice vibe, cool-kid staff, overall good time. Probably can't afford to eat there as often as I'd like, but if I want to low-key impress someone in a casual, nonchalant way, I'd consider bringing them here. Tip: Try to go while there is a big convention in town (we went today, first day of PAX West.) Seems counterintuitive, but the extra bustling energy enhances the experience!
