Love the vibe in here! So welcoming and cozy. Shay is so nice and helpful. Our first visit, we got free coffees! They said we get 50% off the drinks everytime for being a card holder which is legit and the coffee is amazing too. I definitely will be hanging out here more often! Feels VIP!
I've had a Capital One checking account for about a decade now and I've always been very pleased with them. So happy that they have a capital one cafe in KC now! Amazing atmosphere and can't beat 50% off for being a capital one customer. IF YOU BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE I SUGGEST MOVING YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT HERE. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the ATM machine dispense 1's, 5's and 20's, which is really nice.
Went to deposit a paycheck today because we couldn’t have direct deposit due to a holiday and was told by the two tellers they cannot deposit a check without a debit card. This is not a bank. This is a coffee shop with two ATMs. Called corporate after I left and they were appalled. Gas is too expensive to be wasting folks’ time like this. The tellers are just there for the technologically challenged folks who haven’t learned how to use an atm, they cannot actually do anything. Complete waste of space on the Plaza. Will definitely be going back to a credit union. At least they actually provide banking services.
Drinks: My friend and I ordered the matcha vanilla latte and it was super delicious and refreshing. We also got 40% off of a Large for using our captial one card which was a steal. Place/ Atmosphere: This place is perfect for studying or hanging out with friends. I loved the ambiance of this place. It kind of reminds me of a Korean cafe with the aesthetic. They also offer meeting/studying room for a party of 8. All you have to do is reserve online. Service: The service was amazing. Shay is one of the workers there and she was very kind to give us a tour of the building and even offered us a free capital one tumbler. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new spot to hang or study.
This was my first time at a Capital One Cafe and it greatly exceeded my expectations. There are 24hr ATMs at the entrance, which is what I stopped by for, and Nathan asked if I needed any help. After I was done, I went inside and he politely gave me a tour and offered a free beverage since it was my first time. I forget the name of the barista but she was super nice as well. I ended up getting an Apple Cider drink and it was fantastic. Nathan then continued to chat with me about Capital One stuff and as I was leaving, let me take a luggage tag and gave me a free tote bag with random swag in it. Couldn't have asked for better service. Really wish I had one of these where I live.
Holy guacamole their coffee is probably the best coffee I've ever had, it is so creamy and flavorful. I also like the lighting and all the good seating choices. Bathroom was also pretty nice. The employees are really nice to me.
My wife and I visited this cafe on 2/15/26 and were blown away at the customer service and overall atmosphere. We bank with capital one but have never been able to get to an actual Capital One café. I missed writing down the name of the woman who helped us, but she was the one working on the banking side. She was extremely professional, very nice and overall pleasure to talk to. We ended up getting a few drinks from the café as well and they were delicious!
The barista, Vista, (I hope I am right on that.) is so welcoming and just so nice. They can also hold a good conversation in a short amount of time! Always a fun time when they are working! Thank you so much for your kindness and snacks!
I do everything online and that includes my banking. But after experiencing Capital One’s cafe. I will go against my norm and look for more of these cafes from Capital one. Why? Because their cafe is literally on par to a Starbucks cafe. Plus if you use your capital one card or discover, you get 50% off your drinks. Then you can do your banking with real agents. I have never seen anything like this before and I’m all for it

Delicious coffee and treats. Definitely worth checking out. It's clear that plenty of thought and refinements have gone into these ever evolving locations that serve local communities.
