This Dairy Queen is god awful. I have been so many times and every time it’s just bad. The last two times have especially been bad. The employees are always rude, the lines are always ridiculously slow and the last two times I’ve gone my “ ice cream” was more like soup and my brownie cupfection soup was missing brownies. Dairy Queen used to be one of my favorite places and a place I remember fondly from my childhood, but now, it’s just disappointing and I don’t think I’ll ever be going again, at least not to this location ever again.
I was craving dipped cone all week. I finally went in today on the little gas I had left just for the guy to say "our dipper isn't working." So I left because that's all I wanted and they didn't have it. How does Dairy Queen of all places have an issue with their dipper? They're pretty much known for dipped cones. Just about ruined my whole day.
There were two cars in front of me in the Drive-Thru. I ordered a small strawberry sundae. It took more than 20 minutes for me to get my order!
I went to the drive through. I asked for two medium blizzards. One pineapple and one strawberry. The girl said she could do that as a milkshake, I answered that I wanted blizzards. When I was served at the window she handed me two blizzards, both had strawberries and pineapples. I said again I wanted one strawberry and one pineapple. Next, I was served two strawberry blizzards with a container of pineapple on the side! Next, I was served an ice-cream with a few strawberries in it and another ice-cream with large chunks of pineapple in it. I took them and came home. Not sure what to think of it all.
Inside open, clean, & empty. People were friendly service was fast. Loved loved loved the blizzards but I hate them turning it upside-down. I don't care for that signature move... if it falls out I'll demand a refund because I'm not waiting for them to remake it. I'm in Florida it's going to melt some before I reach my vehicle.
I’m so disappointed with this location. I love Dairy Queen, but every time I come to this one they mess up something with my order. I ordered a medium drumstick blizzard with no peanuts. I go up to the window and the guy hands me pie. I told him that’s not what I ordered and I repeated that I ordered a medium drumstick blizzard with no peanuts. He runs my card and I see that I paid for a medium blizzard. He brings me a SMALL drumstick blizzard WITH peanuts. This isn’t the first time I’ve had something wrong with my order here. I’m so disappointed and I won’t be coming to this location anymore.
Online says dine in available but the lobby is closed. The sign says lobby closed please visit our fast drive through. Welp what a lie! Slowest drive through ever! And sitting inside is employees just sitting around with kids. If I hadn’t told my two kids we were getting ice cream we would have left and rolled the dice on McDonald’s ice cream machine...
I treated my girls and I to ice cream tonight in honor of my grandmother's passing, peanut buster parfaits were her favorite. Mine wasn't even full to the top of the cup, and was very lacking in fudge. Skimpy at best. We have been here many times and often get shorted in similar ways, ice cream servings are too small for the price. The people serving were OK, kind of slow, the other employees were mostly standing around. The look from the outside of the building is...dump. Trash, bumpy cracked pavement, electrical wires hanging out of the roof. I will try the next closest location next time.
The food at Dairy Queen is good when you get it. The problem I have with the location is they are very slow and unorganized. I ordered and waited a half an hour for chicken fingers. Which turned out to be the fact that they forgot I was in the parking lot waiting for my food so I had to go in and get it. They didn't offer me anything extra for waiting such a long time which just made me feel like I don't think I'll go back it's really sad for a fast food restaurant to be this slow and forgetful. Get it together Dairy Queen downgrading you to 2 stars
Ice cream good but be careful on a peanut butter sundae....they like to put it in there unmelted and separated....we feel bad for this location because it's so run down both inside and out. There are holes in the ceiling inside and severe water damage and black mold from leaks. No one who works there seems happy or friendly but if you go inside it's understandable. They should be treated better and so should the building. Ice cream is a happy thing but this place has been neglected and forgotten and their employees deserve better and so do we!
