Ordered a small blizzard. This place is literally 5 minutes from work. There’s no reason it should’ve been this melted by the time I returned to work. I should’ve known something was up when I didn’t get my flip of the cup blizzard show. The toast was thick, burnt, and tasteless. Lastly my fries were old! Dairy Queen used to be my safe choice.
Took nearly 20 min for a small strawberry cheesecake blizzard while my partner got his cone within 10 min. My blizzard wasn't even mixed. Nothing decent about this location
I just ordered a Large Oreo Blizzard like 10 mins ago (7:14pm) today, the 23rd of June. My order is not even full, unlike before. The two (2) employees are playful while preparing my order. I saw the staff from the window when he threw the Blizzard spoon in the cup upside down while laughing. Then, the lady staff laughed as well while throwing that upside down spoon in the trash and grabbed a new one, put it in my Blizzard, and gave it to me. These people clearly are very unprofessional. As a customer, I don't want people like that making my food. Definitely, not coming back.
I will never waste another drop of gas coming to this location. I will walk to the University location before I return to this dump. Expect to sit in drive thru NO LESS THAN 20 minutes. When I finally made it to the speaker, I started by asking if they still had the brownie bowl. They had no idea what I was referring to(eventhough it was just on the menu). Instead I ordered "the brownie and oreo cupfection, a small coke no ice, and a small strawberry sundae with banana". I get to the window, she took my card and stood there laughing with a coworker before running the payment. I assumed the wait was because of short staff....however I watched a group of 6 people standing there laughing a giggling. It looked as if they were supposed to be training, however it looked like break time for the whole crew. By the time I got the cupfection, the cup wasn't even full of ice cream. It looked like an oreo McCurry honestly. There were no brownie bits in the cup, there was a brownie cut in half and put at the bottom of the cup. I got the strawberry sundae with exactly 4 banana piece halves. I had to ask for more banana. They forgot my coke and when I asked for it she got it with attitude full of ice. Save your money and time by going to the other location on University. The service and products are way better there!
Why is there a PEANUT in my daughters cotton candy blizzard!???!!? My daughter saw it, and knew it was something odd about it. She is ALLERGIC to PEANUTS! Omg. It’s upsetting because she COULD HAVE eaten that. I don’t know how she caught that, but I’m glad she did! Employees need to be careful! I understand they work with peanuts, but there should be more care involved. Understaffed or not. Make everything with care and concern!! We waited long enough to have it done properly! The service tonight was BEYOND poor. Young lady with the long braids tonight (7.19), try to have better customer service! Ruining our ice cream experience! If I’m going to spend money here I would appreciate not having cross contaminated ice cream toppings and better customer service! Especially when telling me in a rude way that you don’t accept AMEX. Which is fine… just be polite about it. It’s not like it’s posted for us to see ahead of time! Also, is there a new type of chocolate in the s’mores blizzard? I’m expecting the thick pieces, not shaved chocolate. Can a manager reach out to me. This peanut in the blizzard is unacceptable. And yes it was a peanut because I looked at it, and I ate it !
Absolutely disgusted. Speaker “was not working” so we had to order at the window. Upon handing over my card, it took the manager very long to ring up ONE blizzard and it seemed as though she walked out of sight to do so. I had a terrible gut feeling. Noticed not even 48 hours later, two charges at local restaurants to the Dairy Queen location totaling over $100. I al very disgusted and will be filing a police report.
Just wanted to give props to the 2 guys working December 28 2024 around 7:30pm. Didn’t catch their names, but the Blizzard was properly mixed for once, their uniforms were clean, they were polite and made eye contact. I appreciate them acting like people in a world where the service industry is anything but about service. Kudos fellas.
The people are always very nice but they seem to always be out of something. I have came up here three times in the last 3 weeks all at different times of the day and they are always out of the gravy sauce. And now out of malt as well. They need to get it together on there ordering if they are always out of something!
Ordered the banana split after BOGO from WD my first time there. The guy was handling food no gloves and no one had hair nets. I literally drove 5 mins both Banana splits were completely soupy.
This Dairy Queen has really gone downhill. Twice in the past week, their slush machine was inoperable. Additionally, this time they were out of cheese curds. It seems every time I come here, they're out of something I order. Normally, I wouldn't care, but rather than SIT in the line, I'd like to be told of the issue when I order as opposed to when I finally reach the window. Lastly, the customer service is much to be desired. I feel as though I'm bothering the staff, rather than being a customer. Very disappointing all around .👎
