I've been waiting to be approved going on 4 weeks now. The workers are so slow! Pregnant women need to have their applications reviewed and approved faster than this. I have no way of seeing an actual doctor while I wait for Medicaid to be approved. I went to try and apply for insurance through market place, they need the answer of why I wasn't approved through Medicaid, I have no answer because I still don't know if I'm approved. By the time I know it'll be too late to sign up through market place.

If I could give this a half a star I would. Everything was great when I first found out I was pregnant. They approved my application pretty quick. I’m 25 weeks now and I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for a month since I moved states. Everytime I call they say due to high call volumes they aren’t accepting any calls. I’m sick of them how am I supposed to go to my prenatal appointments!!!!!!

Medicaid Ga is so frustrating. I absolutely dread calling them knowing I won’t get help. However, I did just call this number and “the party can’t be reached”. Beyond frustrated. Editing to say that despite all its frustrations, I’m grateful for them as I wouldn’t be able to afford healthcare insurance for both my son and i. So I’ll take what they have to offer!

I had been applying for medicaid since the end of 2020 for pregnancy and didn't hear anything back. I even called the case worker that was on the letter from my kids medicaid. Called and left voice-mail hoping she would be able to help me and didn't get not one call back. Well I ended up having my daughter early and now I'm hit with all these expensive medical bills! Thanks for nothing Georgia medicaid, yall should be ashamed! All these ppl need help and you all are sitting around doing nothing. I feel like my medical bills should be paid by you all cause I was supposed to be on medicaid but you never responded!

Disgusting. They denied my son who has been disabled since birth. They denied his renewal this time. Talked to someone who was supposed to straighten it out. Not done.

My sister's resartification was in February. So she missed that so she replied and had all her paperwork turned in before the end of March April, they told her she needed to reapply because it had expired so we turned all her paperwork back end. Now she just called and talked to them on the phone. And they said that she needs to reapply.Because it expired. How many times do you have to reapply and turn the saying paperwork in before? They can get this right. So frustrated.
