I have been waiting on a call since October 2024. I have called several times and have been told that no one had been assigned to my case... since October. I have completed the QMB and provided all the information from my side. Still waiting and was told through Medicare who was on hold and then looked in their system that my status is still pending....
Imagine not being able to get supplies for CPAP for over seven months and being told that prior authorization has To be made and making many phone calls back to back to back to no avail and having to resort to bleaching dirty equipment that has mold and rust this is my reality and nothing has been done
The process to begin home care services is HORRENDOUS. My mother, who is bedridden and severely disabled, was approved for Medicaid benefits in December 2025. However, because the process to secure home care service involves engaging a case management company, nursing agency and multiple community agencies, I still don't have services for my Mom. The standard reply from these agencies is "the process takes 30-60 days." With all the digital access available, WHY does it take 30-60 days to push paper? It's been almost six months since I applied. I spoke to Medicaid personally re: my Mom's income/eligibility for home care around February and she is qualified. But the agency didn't submit paperwork needed for billing until June. Why can't Medicaid work directly with me (in collaboration with a doctor/nurse) to submit the care plan? These third parties are completely dropping the ball. People can literally die waiting for services.
Good luck ever reaching anyone… even for SIMPLE questions. They will literally hang up, even if you’ve waited HOURS for a callback. Or being transferred. What a joke.
They never have access to humans over the phone and their phone system doesn’t even have an option to reach Medicaid. If you need to make any changes EVERYTHING is done in person. Over all this state is so far behind everything in GA is far and has to be done in person so if you live away make sure EVERYTHING is closed and felt with before you move or you’ll find yourself driving 14 hrs round trips for important errands or flying 🤦🏾♀️ such a headache

I've been trying to get a hold of a human since December.... just moved from florida and need to switch everything over my daughter was 2 almost 3 months at the time and she didn't receive her 4 months vaccines becuase of this and she's about the be 6 months and she wont be receiving them either... this is so UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL. I am APPALLED .
I’ve been calling for DAYS trying to get a hold of them!!!! I NEED my nausea medicine and prenatals for my pregnancy and they won’t even answer to give me my policy number. I haven’t received my card in the mail yet so I literally can’t any of my meds until they answer because nobody can’t find my info in the system except for my doctors office 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
This makes no kind of sense. I am a 60 year old disabled person. Have had Georgia medicaid to help with my prescriptions and Medicare payments for years. I started receiving a whole $85 in SSI last month and my medicaid was cut off and I can't get a real person to save my life...I am so disgusted...I had to pay $32 for four (4) pills...I can't afford my full prescription...what are they trying to do, kill off old people? Disabled people? I wish I could give less than one star.
There is NO WAY to speak to a human. Not one way. It's all automated so you cannot get your problems solved or your questions answered. They should not receive any tax payer's money. I have not been able to create an online account and they do not have an option to get help for this or to speak to a representative.
