Huge shout out to Hayley & Matt over at HOMETOWN LOGISTICS. They typically run the Indiana lanes and are amazing to work with. Always competitive rates and very understanding people. had an incident where my truck broke down mid route. Hayley was able to get the load rescheduled for Monday as I successfully delivered after getting my truck repaired through the weekend. Any other broker would have tried to ruin your reputation for one short coming regardless of the countless great successful deliveries you may have done. Hometown is the Company you want to run your loads with, ask for Hayley!! Truly a reliable and amazing person over there.
This was my first time working with Hometown. My rep Leo D. and broker Taylor L. were amazing! Leo kindly worked to negotiate the rate with me. They did not inundate me or my driver with phone calls or emails. I communicated effectively, as I always do, and everything went smooth. We did not need tracking. No one was at the receiver when my driver arrived, but they quickly took care of that too. When they could not answer the call, they texted me so that I would know my call would be addressed as soon as they could. I could not ask for more from them and respect for our service. Once the load was complete, they even issued an email requesting my invoice. That is a first for a broker to be just as anxious to pay us as they are to get us to haul for them. I tell you, in a time such as this, it is truly a breath of fresh air to find a broker that is worth working with. Their software platform for onboarding, tracking, and communication is clear and modern. I am happy to work for them again. If they had loads to keep all my trucks running every day, I would not want to work for anyone else. It was a great experience for us! P.S. I hear that they have a NET 18 pay cycle too! Now, I don't know yet, but it could not get any better than that.
This company is a joke. The broker Jason english is very rude. He doesn't deal properly with carrier. Booked a load with him when my driver was almost at the shipper he canceled the load and do not give us the TONU.
Hometown Logistics is an excellent partner. They offer quick and easy carrier setup, provide detailed communication, and ensure payments are made according to terms. It's hard to ask for more! I'm delighted with it being easy to book loads with them and give them five stars without hesitation.
The worst experience I had in 6 years of trucking. They flat-out refused to pay me what I was owed as overtime for a mess they created, and it was a huge struggle to get them to respond. They wouldn't answer my calls or emails, and it felt like they were trying to ignore me until the whole thing just went away. In the end, they reached out just to blackmail and threaten my Company with a flag in the system and report if we keep requesting what we are owed. It's completely unacceptable to treat truckers and their time and labour this way. I wouldn't recommend this broker to anyone. If you end up calling them and get a hold of Hannah Kendall, just hang up and stop wasting your time

Never work with this broker !!! Booked load with Josh ( PU till 2:30 pm) I told eta is noon- 1 pm . 12:20 driver empty started driving to the pick up - broker calls me saying we recovered the load - don’t go there otherwise we put you on a black list Is it some kind of scam ? Now it is 12:30 broker saying we cannot pick up the load we booked day before. For 12 years in logistics first time I see such unprofessional!!!
Terrible service and a terrible first time interaction with their customer service staff. If they’re not going to be respectful then allow a robot to take over customer service.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Terrible experience. My driver waited all day at the shipper, only for the load to be cancelled at the end of the day, no compensation, no TONU payment. Despite multiple calls and texts, they ignored all communication and gave false reassurances earlier in the day. This cost us time, fuel, and money, and completely ruined our schedule. Completely unprofessional. We will never work with them again.
This was a great company to work for. We booked a partial with them that was paying a good rate, they also knew exactly what we were picking up. I ended up calling them twice on this load, I got the same broker who answered the phone quickly and provided me with all the necessary information I needed. I ended up having to get set up with them which only took maybe five mins and as soon as i sent it back i received the rate con. Looking forward doing business with them again!
