Great store lot's of reasons to shop there. Filled my gas tank for $1.86 a gallon after discount. What's not to love. LoL Grabbed a pre made dinner for my overnight shift. In and out less than 5 minutes.
We’ve shopped there for some time. As all grocery stores, they play the price game. Employees and checkers are very friendly. Butchers are very friendly. Sadly they seem to have cut back on their gas cents off program I assume due to the unstable fuel prices.
I’ve used the floral department at the 64th St store several times, including for my wedding last year. Each time, they have been excellent. Today I sent flowers to a friend who has been having health issues. The arrangement is stunning! Thanks again to Jennifer and her crew.
A classic go-to Hy-Vee. I have gone to this Hy-Vee for years and it has maintained great consistency with its quality.
This is a fine grocery store. They sell food, and lots of it! Need four different kinds of onions? By golly this place has you covered. The fuel saver thing seems purposefully confusing but my wife loves it. There’s probably a deeper meaning there but this place rules for groceries.
Clean, organized and well stocked. Saw at least 10 or more staff restocking during mid-afternoon hours. Staff was friendly and informative.
This review is only for the Bakery. Grocery store is a good store overall. I Would not recommend Birthday cakes here. If you are trying to add an image to the cake. They are terrible at it. Looks like a piece of paper just taped to the top of the cake. Consintinos downtown KC transfers images flawlessly onto the cake. So we figured Hy-vee who must do even more cakes then a grocery store downtown would be better. Thats a negative. Also the writing on the cake was terrible. Not sure if they were trying for something cute or what. We even chose this Hyvee over the one closer to to us as this Hyvee is much newer and nicer. Figured they would have the best bakery. Negative As for a grocery store in general. Top notch. Bakery not so much.
I enjoy shopping here and often get food at the hot deli areas.
One of the freezers on the floor was warm with the meats in it dripping I told the workers there and they said it is defrosting and the food is fine. How can warm heat be good for meats and sea food ? Health code violation?
Good selection. This is the best location around for pickup. They really look for the items and don’t get lazy about it. The employees are helpful and have good customer service skills.
