Fantastic hotel in Downtown LA. The views are phenomenal - a sweeping panorama above the city in all directions. My room was spacious, clean, full of little luxuries. The gym is brilliant: large space, a broad spectrum of equipment and everything brand new. During my check in, Alberto was kind, attentive, and informative, answering all my questions and providing helpful tips about the hotel and surrounding area.
Karla at the front desk made the experience absolutely wonderful. She went out of her way to make me feel special and welcomed. At La Boucherie, which has amazing views and the food was amazing was made even more special by Jasmine. She was so attentive and had wonderful energy. Overall, a great place but the workers made it even better. Thank you Karla and Jasmine.
As a Diamond member, my stay at the InterContinental Downtown Los Angeles was exceptional from start to finish. I was generously upgraded to a junior suite, which set the tone for a truly elevated experience. The complimentary breakfast voucher was a fantastic value, and I have to say and the salmon avocado toast was hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. Genuinely memorable. Service throughout the hotel was impeccable and polished, easily on par with a St. Regis or Ritz-Carlton, which is no small compliment. The lobby lounge is another standout. The food is excellent—I ordered the shrimp Caesar both nights and loved it every time. While the tuna appetizer wasn’t my favorite, everything else more than made up for it. The cocktails were also very well done; the skinny jalapeño margarita was perfectly balanced and delicious. Overall, this hotel delivers luxury, comfort, and service at the highest level. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier experience in downtown LA.
Initially had an issue at check in, but Franz, Director of Front Office restored my faith in hospitality and management. He actually addressed my concerns, unlike many managers these days with their excuses and vague responses. Franz is absolutely amazing and indicative of 5 star level hospitality. Thank you for being honest, for truly hearing me, and for ensuring our stay went smoothly. More managers should be like him. I will be returning again soon!
WOAH! What. A. Stay. My girlfriend and I travelled to LA for my 26th birthday and were welcomed with open arms by the intercontinental. I have to give a major shout out to this young man Sergio who gave the best service I’ve received from an employee at an IHG hotel. He was so understanding, helpful and went the extra mile to make this trip memorable for us. Harley checked us in and was very cheerful and accommodating to our early check in. Thank you both for your kindness and professionalism!
Hotel has amazing views and truly is a 5 star hotel. Managers there I believe Angel, Marcelo and Patricia were amazing super helpful and accommodating will definitely be going back there to stay. This hotel stay has been lovely. We got a corner room on the 61st floor. The views of LA are top tier. The byredo products are my favorite and the shower was 10/10! Very comfy bed and enjoyable space. We got room service on the 1st day and it was very good. We ordered the Caesar salad and Club sandwich, so GOOD! My biggest red flag are the elevators, worse concept and idea ever. Having to elevator hop to do anything is annoying and just makes no sense. We had drinks at the lobby bar and the service and drinks were good!
This is our third year here to celebrate our Anniversary, the view is amazing!! Alberto helped us to decide to stay for another night, he is great at customer service. The food at La Boucherie is delicious, the ambiance for a date night is very delightful.
This is a nice hotel. My room was very comfortable and clean and the view was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Alberto had me laughing at check in. It's only a few blocks from the convention center and has quite a few meeting rooms. The elevators are a bit quirky.
