The Owner and staff was nice enough to serve me right at closing time. They were welcoming and friendly. The salmon was moist and cooked to perfection. The jerk fries were delicious too! I throughly enjoyed my food. I will be going back especially for the service. I ordered take out but sat down and talked with the owner and staff. The only reason my food was in the takeout box.

I must say I was impressed. Customer service is excellent Peter the owner takes pride and honor in his products . This is the best Caribbean food in this area. You can taste the TLC. The restaurant sits out of the way. A quiet spot for a great place to have a special drink meet and greet or date night . Sorrel drink is healthy and tastes like no other. This restaurant accommodates various eating habits vegan etc. I encourage you to stop by here and try this place out. Not coming here will not be fair to you.

The best part of the meal was the Pineapple Lemonade and the fact that they served plantains. I absolutely love plantains, however, the ones provided were chewy in texture and tasted as though they were either overcooked or old. We tried the Curry Chicken and Jerk Pork for the lunch bowls. The jerk pork was quite good, it had good spices and went well with the rice and beans. The curry chicken was good, but there was very little curry. It was more like eating plain rice with bits of seasoned chicken and a piece of a potato. I gave the mango juice a try and while it was bottled from Canada, it still tastes good as another drink option. The Pineapple Lemonade I believe is made on site, but I'm not certain. We also gave the loaded fries with Oxtail Gravy a try. The gravy was good, however the fries were undercooked. The food overall was average to below average quality and could do better. The staff was friendly, though they seemed understaffed. I really wanted to love this place as it's next to one of our favorite ice cream stops; we might give it another try to see if it's better on a different day.

The food is authentic, delicious and a great variety of choices! We had lunch and the portion sizes were enough to bring tasty leftovers home! We were here during the Saturday uke jam and enjoyed the music, fun spirit and wait staff!

What!!! This place has been here for over 9 years and I’m just now finding out about it?!? Don’t be like me, head over there as soon as you can. The food is absolutely amazing! The service was perfect and the restaurant is spotless clean. Peter, the owner, stopped by our table and was so gracious and kind. I had the half-rack ribs, beans/rice, and side salad and it was very very good. I spent 8 years in the Restaurant Industry and I can say, this place is a hidden gem! Can’t wait to go back!

This is my 4th visit. My First 3 visits was great.. my 4th visit was just ok.. The atmosphere and the waitress was excellent !! The food was on the border of just ok.. and the portions was rather small for the price.. I had the curry chicken.. the seasoning was ok and the other dish was Oxtails.. seasoning wasn't all that.. over all this is a ok place to visit.. im sure it's a hit and miss on the food.. but they will get it right.. i chatted with the man in charge.. so please visit.. I had fun

At first, a restaurant like this seems great. It’s hard to understand why they only had a couple of people dining in on a Sunday. Then I realized it’s because of the service. The owner grunted when we said we wanted take out. I do not expect all restaurants to cater to my allergies, I am aware that it can be challenging, but when I asked about them someone reassured me that I would be able to eat most of my order. This woman took my payment, and a tip, and then the owner intervened and told me that he could be my father and that I need to cook at home. Then very specifically and respectfully told me I could not safely eat the food I had ordered and paid for. Respectfully, I asked about my allergies because I am fully okay with not eating somewhere I am unable to eat at. I can take my business elsewhere, but instead he kept our money even though we walked away with nothing I could safely eat. Overall a very odd experience, friendly at first but kind of off in terms of actual service.

Ok, mi reviewers, here we go! So very nice place liked the setup, had mi cold beer, and we ordered mi plus 2 others. So I had dere Roti n Goat was ok could take a lil more seasoning n spice, understand that he's trying to keep it mutal for other people but make 2 pots. Now took home the Jerk Pork Loin OMG straight FIRE 🔥 it was hittin on ALL cylinders, the spices, the scotch, the jerk, the tenderness and flavor was OUT OF THIS WORLD 🌎. I get Caribbeans style is different from 1 another so fully respect (Peter) the owner for cooking great food, comig to speak to his guest, and giving US a hand shake!
