This was one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Philly recently. We had to wait a bit for our reservation and the chef/owner brought over a round of appetizers and drinks on the house. All the food was incredibly fresh and tasty and the service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

We were really looking forward to this and left disappointed. The oysters and mussel toast were both good. The wine was great. Main courses left us really disappointed. We got the steak and swordfish. The swordfish was, or at least appeared to be, deep fried and frankly could have been anything. The steak was pricey and underwhelming. If you do decide to try it, skip the mains.

I had bread w/ Garlic butter. ‘twas green. It was delicious. The service was accomodating. Also the salad, I should have only gotten the bread. Sorry. The noise was loud.

You know it’s too LOUD when the noise totally ruins a Wednesday dinner despite delicious food, good drinks, and great service. We dine out several times each week and this is the loudest restaurant I can recall. My watch repeatedly warned of dangerous decibel levels all night. Ownership could easily correct it with noise suppression panels and/or other inexpensive measures, but it’s clearly the owners’ conscious decision to be loud. Not cool and it’s a shame because the food is good.

OMG! What a marvelous little gem. Went with a friend. He had the Martinez and I the Paloma Milk punch. Both drinks were unique and very enjoyable. He had Beef Tartare and the Hash Browns. So tasty. Fried oysters breading was light and very flavorful. I had the Snow Crab Claws and Smoked Trout which were both delicious. Trout was seasoned perfectly and like butter, just melted in my mouth. Service was attentive and John, our server, was knowledgeable about the menu, explaining the various dishes. Highly recommend.

Dined here last night and the food was not at all what I had anticipated. We ordered the snow crab claws and to our surprise, two of them were extremely cold. It was as if they weren't ready to be served yet, an oddly cold temperature that was far from ideal. The raw bar scallops were decent, but they were surprisingly salty. The salt was overpowering, leaving a burning taste that lingered and masked the flavors of the dill and cucumbers. The beef tartare and the bluefin tuna were the biggest disappointments of the night. The beef tartare was incredibly fatty, stringy, and dry. It was missing flavor, which was a shame because beef tartare has the potential to be so delicious. The tuna came out as one big piece of raw tuna, which was unusual and not what we were expecting. It lacked any seasoning or accompaniments, making it a bland and uninspired dish. To make matters worse, we needed a knife to cut the tuna, which was just strange and took away from the overall experience. The presentation of the dishes was also disappointing. The mussel toast was the only dish that stood out, both in terms of flavor and presentation. It was a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster meal. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. River Twice, offers a much better dining experience, with delicious food and impeccable service. It's a shame, because I had high hopes for this restaurant, but the food and presentation fell short of my expectations.

Maybe my expectations are too high to be real. The food was good but it just felt a bit normal, considering the high price tag. The restaurant is soooo loud, everybody is screaming in there. Great service, our waiter was very nice.

Creative and well crafted offerings. Not an extensive menu--clear evidence of focus. Only two dessert options. Noise was extreme.

From the moment you step into Little Water, it’s clear Randy and Amanda have poured their hearts into every detail. Their second venture brings the same passion and excellence they're known for. Randy's culinary skills shine through in crafting dishes that are as delicious as they are beautiful. Amanda’s decor transports you to the shore, with thoughtful touches that make every corner of the space inviting. Highly recommend visiting for an exceptional experience in the heart of the city!

Was in Philly for a conference a few weeks ago and Little Water was on my list of places to try while in town. This was probably the best meal and dining experiences I've had all year. Absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend!
