Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center in Greater Heights

Editing my review now that billing is resolved. I was billed $2700 for the ER doc to talk to me for 2 minutes but once insurance was involved, through a nightmare of steps, it was reduced. So the doctor did bill through a company that attempted to miscode to charge me $2700 which is bordering on criminal, but otherwise it was a pleasant experience and my broken pinky was identified. Also did get a balance bill of $33 for the radiologist.

Worse staff ever I was a few minutes late for a vital chest scan and they refused me. I arrived 7:15 for a 7:30 appointment. Francis at the front desk was rude and unhelpful the word that comes to mind is heartless. For all reading this I’m also on crutches because I recently recovering from foot surgery, that’s why I was “late”. Francis didn’t care to ask or show any compassion. Don’t go there

This is a review on the Quest Diagnostics lab located at the MH Convenient Care Center. I had a disappointing encounter with multiple issues noted. I was going for blood work and urinalysis study ordered by a physician. First the phlebotomist didn't verify that I was fasting as was required for these studies. Second the phlebotomist used alcohol pad and immediately proceeded to stick the needle without allowing adequate time for disinfection/drying. Last, after the blood draw the phlebotomist told me I was done when I still needed the UA done. I had to inquire about it to which she informed me that wasn't done there and had to be done in office. When I repeatedly inquired if I could have it done at another Quest Diagnostic site she ultimately told me she wasn't sure. I was able to have it done at another site but I wasn't even able to verify over the phone as the Quest phone service is also not well serviced. My wife also had issues there with obtaining her blood work results despite getting tested twice. Needless to say we will avoid this site if we can and perhaps Quest altogether if we had it our way.

Wonderful staff who truly care about your well being never been to a emergency room that got you in right away. Thank you for caring for my granny (who can be pretty darn stubborn). Nurse Mark especially his smile and welcoming attitude made the visit so much less stressful. God bless you all!

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely terrible customer service, waited over 2 hrs. When we inquired they had no clue on when we would see a Doctor. Hardly anybody in there, but if someone had an appointment they would skip you by. NOT AN EMERGENCY CENTER. DO NOT GO!!! Very rude an could care less. This location improperly recorded my address, which resulted in me not getting an additional bill for the services performed. I received a call from a collections agency who was designated to get payment from me for the bill, and they also had the wrong address on record. As a result of this Memorial Hermann location's incorrect record (which, frankly, every time I go to a Memorial Hermann I have to provide them a correct address - they seem to have it wrong every time I go), I had to pay a $4.95 additional processing fee with the collections agency, that no one will refund me. Any time I call Memorial Hermann to dispute the $4.95 collections fee that I had to pay because of Memorial Hermann's error, they just transfer me back to collections. What great customer service. Not.

Very slow service, and guessing doctors, one x-ray took 2.5 hours for three sentences to explain that there was nothing wrong with my hip. I am still in a lot of pain even after taking the medication (pain killer) that they prescribed. I just wasted 5 hours of my time waiting around at this inconvenience center.

Pass. On. The. ER. Went in the middle of the night on a Saturday/Sunday and was empty. Win .(what I thought). Got in to the triage area quickly. When the Dr comes in I explain to her why I'm there and what I need. She instead gives me a different shot that did nothing. Even after 40 min. Then prescribed me 2 more pain meds that also did nothing . Spent a whole 5 min with me then sends a nurse to give me the shot and the prescriptions. Why was she in a rush to get out? Oh because her and the 3 staff members were busy taking about their lives. This place is a joke. The next day I was still in pain. Monday morning my Dr calls in what I told the ER Dr I needed and I'm better. They don't know patient care, just how to bill patients which they did .Would never ever go there again. Like throwing money straight into the trash.

Female nurse was unhelpful and refused to give updates or estimates on times. We were referred there for a CT scan after the MH Urgent Care location saw my 11 year old child for a neck injury. The doctor at MH Urgent care said she’d call ahead so the doctor on duty at the ER would have her notes and get my daughter in for a CT scan. Upon arrival, the female nurse took my daughters vitals but ignored my daughters questions about what the blood pressure machine did and how it gave nurses information. The nurse then put us back in the waiting room and said she had no idea when we’d be seen since this was an ER and they see patients based on urgency. I explained that we had already waited two hours and seen a doctor at the other MH UC location and needed a CT scan. She informed me that it didn’t work that way and her ER doctor would make his own assessment and determine next steps. 3 hours later, we still couldn’t get an update on when we would see the doctor, they refused to give her any medicine or even water until she saw the doctor. We finally had to leave so that my daughter could get something to eat and drink, and take some Motrin since her neck pain was getting more severe as she waited without help at this location. We’re going to try and find another location which will actually do the CT scan and treat my daughter instead of having her obviously decline in the waiting room. I do NOT recommend this place of business. P.S. the receptionist and security guard were nice and helpful but not the medical staff

Made a late 2 am visit and everyone was super helpful, kind and patient with me. Super clean and organized ER. A big thank you to my nurse and Dr. tai for thoroughly explaining everything while providing the best care!
