Went to the ER for first time for chest discomfort and was seen promptly by nurse and taken back to a room. The doctor quickly arrived and ECG and CXR and bloodwork performed right away. Thankfully all was fine and went home after about an hour and half. Excellent care by all.
For a minor cut it was easy to enter, park and get signed in. Within 15 minutes you are taken from the waiting room back to an examination room.
Dr. Ross Bauer was excellent. His bedside manner was the best you can ask for from a physician. He was easy to talk to and introduced himself and his first name. I love a doctor that is down to earth enough to be on a first name basis and he just made talking to him very easy and I felt he cared and was truly listening to me about what had happened to my son. Yes, there was a long wait, but there was also a lot of patients. All the staff were friendly and caring from the receptionist to the triage nurse to the x-ray tech and as mentioned the doctor himself. I wish I knew the x-ray techs name to give him kudos because he was really great as well and I was so thankful my 2 year old slept thru all the positioning as he took his time and worked around my son to get what he needed and keep him comfortable.
BEWARE; unless you have a true emergency DO NOT COME HERE! They bill as if they are an actual hospital. My husband thought he was going to a walk in "urgent care" situation; had a severe strep throat; received a throat swab and chest x-ray....that was it! No blood work or anything else....bill was $5,000! The bill said "Greater Heights Hospital" and that was not where we were. Our insurance said the way they coded the bill (as in an actual hospital emergency room) was why it was so high. They are deceitful and misleading. A "convenient care" that is NOT a hospital has no hospital beds and is free standing certainly seems like an "urgent care".
I believe this ER is really bad, and for a very distinct reason … there was only one person present, a receptionist (that was clearly bored) who immediately wanted my financial information and stated she didn’t know when they would be able to see me because they were full …..Which was strange because there were next to no cars out front ( it was about midnight on a Saturday night) and and only 2 ppl in waiting room and one was asleep. At NO TIME did anyone ask me what my medical problem was or made any effort to do a medical triage. If I need to wait, I need to wait….but not before they even show enough concern to be aware of the level of my emergency…. What if I had been suffering a heart attack? I immediately left without giving her my info ….just told her that I was leaving. I would never trust such a place. (Btw, finances would not have been an issue.) When I signed in to leave a review, I noticed it already had a low rating. …and for some of the same reasons. I wish I could give it a zero. I had to sit out in the entrance of the building on my phone to find help for my situation… IMHO Don’t go there … it is dangerous to go to an ER that does not immediately want to know your medical reason for coming… especially before asking you for financial information. Shows their priority. Remember this is suppose to be an ER.
Went for an annual well check up to Dr. Ashley and she put the wrong code as an office visit, therefore, I got a bill even though the well check up is free. Not caring, not detail-oriented provider. As suggested I filled the form, but nothing has been resolved. Very disappointed with services and would NOT recommend anybody to visit Dr. Ashley Okotie-Eboh. She did not even ask my consent to convert a well check up appointment into something else. She doesn't inform a patient, acts on her own. Not a reliable doctor according to my opinion. I regret visiting her. Update: finally, they admitted they put the wrong code, and would reimburse me. But, no, still waiting for a reimbursement, and nothing gets resolved. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable business. I just wonder if I ever get the reimbursement from them.
One of the worst hospitals in Texas. They don't provide accurate information on the discharge forms. They put random after care centers that aren't after care centers more like a tire shop when you look up the location and the other facilities don't take your insurance finally found one that took my insurance but they won't take my son's stitches out because he didn't get them put in there. Wasted my time and my gas ALL FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
I just love this place they've always treated me with respect and care. fast as possible and went above and beyond. To take care of me.
Imagine having an emergency and not getting help form medical professionals(with an oath to help) because you dont have an ID. Everyone here needs to be immediately barred from the medical profession.
Appointment was for a sinus infection at Memorial Herman Convenient care where Dr. Dalbir Purewal will treat you like you’re visiting a convenient store. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a doctor. I explained that I’ve been using over-the-counter medications since childhood—long before they were even available OTC—and that they have never worked for me. Despite this, Dr. Purewal was dismissive and continued to recommend the same over-the-counter options, without offering any new or personalized treatment plan. The appointment lasted less than five minutes. He did prescribe an antibiotic, which felt more like a checkbox than a thoughtful decision. I was also advised to wear a mask, even though I brought up concerns about long-term effects based on current research. I asked about the impact of taking OTC meds year-round as he recommended and my concerns were brushed off without a meaningful explanation. I left the appointment feeling unheard and frustrated. It’s disappointing, especially after having a much better experience with another provider at the same location.
