We chose this facility primarily because it carries the Memorial Hermann name (and the location was indeed convenient). After waiting 3+ hours all that has been done is a check of vitals. There were only 4 other people in the waiting area when we arrived at 8pm. Even if the care we may eventually receive is amazing (when we finally get care), we won't be coming back here again.

Came to the er bc my primary care doctor is upstairs. Expressed to the nurse Brittany that I was feeling ill and anxious like I was having an anxiety attach. She looked me in my face and told me they could not help me. As soon as I got a room I left and called 911 expressing how they were not helping and I was in the middle of a mental health crisis, instead of them providing me with care they called cps and took me to a mental health hospital. The mental health hospital did not help they were literally just exploiting people and helping homeless people get their checks. So I’m back again to see my doctor to start at square one a week later. All and all if you have anxiety depression or any mental health issues don’t come here bc they won’t help they will just call cps to say you’re an unfit parent but fail to mention that you have been in their office for three weeks straight asking for help

IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY DO NOT GO HERE Came here yesterday evening around 6:30 PM with severe chest pain and shortness of breath and there wasn’t even a receptionist at the desk. Once the security guard got her to come to the front she took her time typing in all of my information then told me to take a seat and that nurse would come get me soon. That alone is enough for a one star review but wait, there’s more. I sat and waited for 20 minutes in extreme pain and finally a nurse came out but he didn’t take me back he went and sat at an empty computer desk with no paperwork and the computer not even turned on. I expressed my discomfort to the security guard (the receptionist was nowhere to be found again) and she told me to just wait. The nurse got up from the computer and went into what looked like a break room immediately behind the receptionist’s desk and closed the door. I expressed my concern again to the security guard so she went and opened the door and both the receptionist and the nurse were just sitting inside the room. At this point I had been waiting for about 45 minutes so I told them I was leaving and walked out dizzy and short of breath with extreme chest pain and not one of them said a word. I drove myself to another emergency room and was taken back immediately and it turns out that I was having a heart attack, luckily a very mild one. I’m sure that if I would’ve stayed here I would have died either in their incompetent hands or in the waiting room while the staff gossiped. My information is in the system, unless they deleted it, and I still have the wristband from being checked in. 01/27/2021 around 6:00 PM. An African American female receptionist and African American male nurse. Both should be fired and you might be hearing from my lawyer very soon. Do not take your loved ones here.

One the of male nurses acted inappropriately with my fiance. He didn't even knock on the room door and just walked in while my fiance is naked. I said to the nurse come on man she is naked and He kept trying to look around me to see my fiance while trying to talk to her. The staff came in and tried to brush it off but that is unacceptable behavior! Highly unprofessional. He definitely needs a talking to or a write up.

My visit to Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center followed an unfortunate incident at the gym, resulting in a severe finger injury and excruciating pain. Regrettably, my encounter with Nurse Marco left me deeply distressed and traumatized. Description of Care Received: Upon arrival, Nurse Marco attended to me. However, his approach and conduct throughout the ordeal were profoundly disappointing and concerning. Professionalism and Compassion: Nurse Marco exhibited a complete absence of sympathy and compassion during my time at the care center. His demeanor was callous, and he appeared indifferent to my agony and vulnerability. Communication Skills: Throughout our interaction, Nurse Marco's communication skills were shockingly inadequate. When I expressed my inability to answer further questions due to the overwhelming pain, his response, "Well, I don’t want to be at work, but I’m here," seemed to imply that my pain was inconsequential and unworthy of consideration. Bedside Manner: Nurse Marco's bedside manner was appalling. Rather than offering support or reassurance, he laughed off my distress and made insensitive remarks, creating an environment of hostility and disdain. Specific Comments Made by Nurse Marco: During our exchange, I recall Nurse Marco making dismissive and offensive comments. When I inquired about receiving additional treatment recommended by the doctor, his response was delivered with palpable attitude: "No." Furthermore, when I attempted to explain the context of my question, he rudely interrupted, raised his voice, and eventually screamed at me in front of other staff and my sister. His behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply distressing and intimidating. Overall Impression: my distressing encounter with Nurse Marco at Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center was compounded by the unsettling possibility of racial bias influencing his behavior. His actions were not only unprofessional and disrespectful but also deeply traumatic, leaving lasting emotional scars that overshadowed the physical injury I sought treatment for. Gratitude: I sincerely hope that this feedback prompts a thorough review of the care provided at the center and leads to necessary improvements in staff training and patient interaction. Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and empathy, regardless of the circumstances.

While the service was not bad, the price of the one hour and 30 minute visit was absolutely obscured. I went in for a headache and left out with the same headache $9,270.00 later. Thank God for excellent insurance but what happened after the ER visit is why I’ll never go to this or any other MH “convenient” ER again. When I received my bill I actually read over it and the math was not mathing. I was doubled billed for an injection “push” and each injection was $495.95. Make it make sense why two injections for medicine that $12 should cost $1,000 to inject. But whatever. I started disputing the bill in April and finally got answers today (October) after having to go to MH’s system office in Memorial City. Every call would be the run around. I even sent emails to the patient billing department. No replies. No nothing but MH faithfully sent the payment statement of $1,007.00 due after insurance. Today thanks to Karina, it finally made sense although it’s still not clearly stated in writing for the patient to understand, but I’ll go with her “why” for the double injection charges because it actually makes sense. Thank you Karina for being patient focused and looking into my ongoing matter. Point is, this locations ER is a ripe off to Americans. I would have hate to have had a worse emergency. Not telling what that bill would have been. Moreover, MH has terrible customer service in the billing department. Save yourself the money and the energy. Try urgent care or go to the local pharmacy for advice on what meds to take to cure pain. I literally walked out with the same pain and experienced even worse headaches trying to deal with the billing.

my friend and I visited this urgent care based on a recommendation from another urgent care and we immediately regretted it. After my friend experienced a traumatic event, we tried lightening the mood in our own private room and the nurse MARIO 2/27 told us to “shut up or else I’m getting security to get you taken out”. It was incredibly insensitive, as my friend had just experienced something traumatic, was full of anxiety, and immediately experienced those emotions again when he told us to be quiet or else he was going to call security for Simply laughing after a hard night. We will be calling corporate and take this further. He was incredibly disrespectful from the start. I understand overnight hours are not ideal for most people, but if you choose to be in healthcare, people are your first priority. The security and front desk was very sweet and was nicer than the healthcare staff.

If i could give them 0 stars i would. My dad got off work to go there because he had Covid symptoms. He got there at 7:15. They took his vitals at 8. They didn’t get him into a room until 11 just to only take his vitals again and leave him sitting for over an hour. He was there for over 5 hours and they did nothing but check his vitals twice. Very unprofessional. DONT GO HERE

I was nervous to come here with my baby because of the reviews but the staff here was really professional and kind. The clerk at the desk, security, the PA, nurse, tech were all really great. Everything was really prompt and as pleasant as it could be for have a sick baby.

Very quick and super efficient. For starters you are treated in a room- not the lobby. I prefer MH over M- any day.
