Peco is absolutely the most incompetent electricity provider in the USA. Any small storm knocks out the electric service for days. When the power goes out there are thousands of generators in my neighborhood that start up. It sounds like a 3rd world country. They clearly have a bloated staff and management that do zero to ensure the electric service. Due to the frequent power surges many computers and electronic equipment, including, recently, my furnace have been turned into so much junk

Been without power for over a week. Supervisors refuse to call back. On hold for hours. This company is an absolute joke, and the CEO should be ashamed with how their business is handled.

I have been trying to talk to a live person at Peco for 3 days. Somehow without my knowledge someone changed my electric supplier from Peco to Indra energy without my consent or authorization. The letter was made from Peco on February 11 and I received it February 18th and the change went into effect on the 18th of February. Been on hold for 30 minutes each time trying to talk to someone to find out how this could happen which is illegal. Called 3 days in a row. These corporate people need to make it easier for people to get in contact with them to be able to address these illegal matters they allowed. If they don't want to answer I'll be calling a lawyer. One of the worst companies in the USA ever. Liers, cheaters, robbers etc. I posted my payment like I do every month, got an email they have received the payment. Couple days later I realised that I don’t have that taken from my bank account and decided to double check – guess what, cancelled my payment for no reson and applied $30 fee, moreover I was told to call the bank, spent an hour on the phone talking to different people and they all said everything works good on their way. When I was having outage for 2 days, nobody wanted to help me out, but when it’s time to charge for NOTHING they’re happy to do that immediately. If I knew another company to switch to, I’d do that with a great pleasure! You are ridiculously not fair and terrible.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I am moving and requested service to be turned off 7/7/25. Today, they shut it off. I have been on hold for over 2 hours with no human answering. Still on hold, it 90 degrees today and no electric! How is this even legal?

They admitted that there was a system error and they deducted all my money, more than 9,000! But it would take a month for the case to be opened before it would be refunded to me. This resulted in a lot of overdrafts on my payments! This is nothing... It turned out that they gave me more than 9,000 in refundable credit. And I can only use 1,000 in a year🥵 I only use the electricity that costs tens of dollars a month. Do I have to use it until I die? And I need this money. This is all the money I have. I need to pay for a lot of stuff and raise kids.

I have tried to contact PECO for 3 weeks. I have been on hold so many times in excess of 30 minutes. These people should lose their license to provide energy to anyone. All I am trying to do is cancel my service.

Customer Services now has resumed their functional system for bill payments. Depending on the time of day that you visit for any other reason. I have edited my previous review to reflect a more positive and time efficient experience.

A PECO employee scammed me and they keep putting the investigation off. They send me 2 bills with different account numbers and were supposed to give me a payment plan after their employee scammed me but never followed through. Now they're talking about I got a 10 day notice, lies. I've received no such letter except for the call, 8 days before shut-off for a bill I've been trying to pay.

Does anyone actually work in the PECO customer service center? It is impossible to get a live person on the phone and once you do they disconnect you after placing you on hold. PECO has my account so screwed up, I am trying to do the right thing and pay my bill after 6 months of not receiving an invoice but they are making it virtually impossible to do the right thing! I've contacted customer service half a dozen times to try to resolve. I can't believe this is 2025.
