The all time worst, most unethical and greediest electric utility company of the globe. Such a disgraceful organization that holds its customers hostage to predatory energy costs!!!!!

This company is putting false information on people credit report. My service was transferred to another address, electric was on until someone else took over service there. PECO is saying they can't find no information of me having service there. PECO saying I have service at a different address where no bill was paid for over four years, yes people PECO said they kept electric on at a property in my name without a payment for four years. The entire PECO company needs to be placed in a bottom less pit. I am wondering who name the electric is in before it was put in Nicole name. I hate PECO I wish the worst for PECO.

Peco energy should be ashamed of themselves. The ceos living filthy rich while they oppress people. I am a hard working citizens and customer for years and my electric was shut off for non payments of $89.00 due July 3 and I had planned to pay on Friday. I come home from work with my two girls mind you I am a widow and single mother trying to make ends meet, and to my surprise my electric shot down. If the rich ceo were in my place r Or their family members then they would know how it feels to be in my heartless people. I pay my bill each month and shir off for 89 dollars despicable. May another company take them out of business. :(

Power has been out since 5:30 last night and Peco’s hotline is useless. Claiming they are open 7am-7pm there is no human to answer any calls nor update estimates. Extremely ridiculous especially in an emergency situation we have a child under 2yrs old and our home has no heat or power to maintain foods. Over hundreds of dollars in food has spoiled due to delays to get it all fixed in a timely manner. To top it off It’s hits under freezing temperatures, really no where near okay by this point. Very questionable in their reliability and forwardness to take care of their customers. Poor service all the way.

they took $994 out of my checking account. My late husband moved out October 2020 and used my credentials to get electric For his apartment in Malvern. He he never told me. After he died, his estate went to his sister. The electric was never shut off a year after that . So I got the bill for $994.00. I’ve been fighting this issue for months! They are they’re telling me that I said it was OK to pay my dead husband‘s electric bill after he died. for a year after he passed away, the electric was on. On where ! I have no idea because somebody moved into his apartment weeks after . I have a letter to prove it from his old apartment building. You called the electric company nobody answers they tell me the case is closed because they got that money. I go to pnc and they don’t care. It’s like fighting City Hall on your own.

Peco is the absolute worst. The winter moratorium ended on 3/31/25 after that they can start shut off proceedings. I was never sent a shut off notice so I can get a grant . I told them I can’t afford to pay this bill. I was told there’s a glitch in the system but I can’t get help without the notice. They told me they will send the notice out after the program closes what good is that? Why are the deliberately withholding a paper that would allow me to receive a grant so my bill could be paid

How am I getting charged way more for using less electricity I’m getting 2 charges for distribution and 2 charges for transmission how is that… like this is insane seriously…

Terrible customer service. The representative kept putting me on hold without me even knowing so I was talking to myself majority of the time, wasn't getting any of my questions answered, when I asked if I could speak to someone else she hung up on me. I called back to speak to a supervisor and another representative said that someone would call me back that day, still haven't heard anything. I called back today and asked if I could speak to a supervisor and was told they don't take calls. I'm still left with questions unanswered. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!

I moved a month ago, prior to that I let PECO know, I had no heat but the lights and stove was working. I thought it was the thermostat but it wasn’t. Now my lungs had been filled with mucus and I had been coughing a lot. I tried calling them and trying get my service on but I encounter rude and disrespectful representatives. Then they send my bill to the wrong address which was crazy. I am so fed up with this whole experience. You never know what a day may bring with them. I am still in the cold, my health is at risk but they can care less. Then you fine someone dead, then you are going say she never called in, I called 4 times today.

Can’t get to a person in a timely fashion, so I use website. Website says can schedule old appliance recycling if you meet all requirements. I do meet all requirements. Site now says they’re not accepting right now. Yet the webpage’s FAQ about the topic states that the program will run thru May 2026 ( it’s currently 2025). Disappointing.
