I have a million reasons to give them 0 stars, but this particular issue is about their subcontractor, Scope. They have sent Scope to my home multiple times to check my gas lines and even threatened to stop service if we didn’t schedule an appointment for them to come out. Each time they have checked, they’ve said there’s something wrong in the system because the gas lines are perfectly fine. This time around, Scope showed up completely unannounced with no appointment & the employee proceeded to trespass my entire property looking for the gas lines himself before I finally confronted him. Our house needs to be REMOVED from the list you guys have created and your subcontractor needs to be properly trained. The next time I get a trespasser searching my house without permission, the police will be called and charged will be filed.

Your typical philly administrative staff - absolutely HORRIBLE! Never had much of an issue with wait time on customer service, but different reps keep feeding me different (incorrect) information; as well as one rep that just blatantly hung up on me, because she did not want to help me with my issue. Be forewarned - trying to set up a commercial account is worse than getting teeth pulled.

This company not only doesn't care about customers, but their managers are worse than most of the basic customer service agents. After 2 weeks, over 13 hours on the phone with them, 4 managers who said to call me back and never did, and 4 agents who promised I'd have my power on last week, im still sitting here with no power and all I hear now is probably tomorrow. They are lucky they are a utility and basically a monopoly, or they would have been competed right out of the market. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The other reviews on here are correct. Customer service wait time is terrible. It does not matter if you call during their "peak" hours or not. You will have to wait a ridiculously long time to get through to some one. And don't ever get me started if you need to get transferred to another department once someone actually answers. We got solar panels put on our house and 3 months later we got back billed for the whole time they were active. I understand miscommunications happen but after numerous attempts on the customer's end to get it resolved and nothing happens what else are we supposed to do?!

Of course Peco is one of our hugest and needed companies ever. I must say since becoming an adult and needing Pecos service. I've been more than pleased. Each time I go into the office as a residential customer. The entire staff is always pleasant ,helpful and professional. Only once in my years of going did I not agree with their decision and even then they were able to direct me to a service that could possibly help. I especially appreciate and love the many programs Peco have to help those in need or those that have fallen on hard times to keep their energy services on. And the programs that teach us how to save energy. I personally thank you Peco Energy.

Fun fact: PECO has a semi-accessible green roof that prevents 1 acre’s worth of water from going directly into our local bodies of water. Look online for tours that take place about once a month outside on the building’s 8th floor roof.

If any work environment needs a customer service, Vicki H from PECO is the human being you should ask for 1st. After 5 calls, no one cares,I gave up…. But on my 5th call, this lady didn’t let me stay under denial. She made me stay on the phone…., and from my deepest struggle as student and in needing of smallest heat or subsists 2 days before Thanksgiving, PECO shot down my entire home (basic needs) just cause I’m behind for $265. They calling it deposit 💵, not electrical bill . This lady made sure I won’t stay in the dark…, not anymore. Thank you so much for being there and real Miss Vicki H.

I have a big issue with my bill, for some reason my bill is 3 times more now and I am using less electricity since I am at work 10 hours. Reaching out is really difficult to peco customer service and when I got hold of them they keep telling that they see something is wrong but nothing is properly taking care of. I was told that an inspector will come in and that person never came. They told me that someone was already and inspected the electrical wire, which is a totally lying statement. I have camers and there was nobody on my property. I am truly disappointed in the way this is handled. Completely unprofessional and providing fraudulent information about the service. I need someone help because this is unacceptable and I don't know to whom I have to reach out in order for this to stop. PECO CUSTOMER SERVICE TAKE CARE OF THIS ISSUE ASAP THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. How can they bill someone 1000 when the same usage was 200 for the last few months? Scammy company Edit. I wish I can give them zero stars and review them again. Still horrible. They have a known billing issue yet continue to rob people

PECO will be closed in definitely in AUGUST! I was told yesterday that they will closing the building for good and that everything will be online. I’m a little sad about this one. I feel like we’re losing everything around us. Otherwise than that the service I received was perfect!! Thank you for helping me and updating me with this news.
