Very bad customer service! I spoke to 7-8 different people and none of them could address my issue. All they did was to read the information from the website, especially the guy name Steve. Piece of advice, if your call was handled by Steve, just try to talk to another guy. He only wasted your time by not helping. Unfortunately, I had to speak to him twice. Completely waste my time!! Ashley is the ONLY person who was really care and addressed my issue. Kudos to her!! She should get a promotion!
most unempathic and careless people ever. they think customers can pay over $300 in utility bills each month if their income is barely a liveable wage. good luck getting their customer service reps to do anything for you over the phone, email, or mail. they will always claim they lost your info and applications and they will trap you in a miscommunication cycle for months while bleeding your bank accounts dry.
This is the worst utility company. I was attempting to switch service to my new place. I submitted all the proper documentation but apparently because the previous tenant has a high outstanding balance, they won't switch the service and I have to wait 3 business days just for them to review my lease and ID as proof I'm a new tenant. Why does it take 3 business to look at something you have access to on your computer sitting right in front of you. It's like their job is to inconvenience you instead of help.
Service is horrible they tell you 72 to have your power restored and they don’t follow through with it. They take their sweet time when they feel like doing the job and in the mean time make you suffer. Very very very poor service. If you have a chance to go with a different company for your electricity by all means do it because peco is the worse
Won’t have my power turned on for a weekend because the tech that came by only turned on one bedroom. They went before our appointment was scheduled and didn’t let anyone know. Not a peep when they were “done”. When we went by at the correct appointment time we learned that only half of our apartment was working. Now they have absolutely no one to help over the weekend. Not even a skeleton crew. Sorry excuse for customer service.
I had an extremely UNPLEASANT experience with Melanie Floyd. From the moment she answered the phone, her lack of professionalism was evident. She was overly aggressive and demonstrated a clear inability to communicate with respect. Her performance as a business analyst was deeply unsatisfactory.
Horrible customer service to a prospective customer. I am willing to switch over all of my systems + generator to natural gas and Kathleen has been extremely rude and disrespectful. I am hoping someone sees this to try and help us.
Moved into our apartment and set electricity to be on the next day at 8am. Come home from work and it’s not turned on. Try to contact someone they close at 7pm. The most ghetto service ever. And get a text around 8:30pm saying they sent it to the meter. It’s still not on. Gladly, global warming is real and it’s 80 in November.. I have a toddler and if I had to get a hotel for the night I would try my hardest to get compensated for this inconvenience.
Power has been out for approximately 4.5 days now. Have contacted the company numerous times and they never seem to genuinely care. We have a 3 year old that has been in stale hot weather since the storm started. Spending $50+ on gasoline just to run a generator. Website lies about restoration times. I’ve been given about 3 different days with the same time however have only seen the company working for 1 day on my street just to still go to bed during a heat wave with 0 a/c. Thank you peco.
words can't describe my dislike! 2hrs wait on the phone, 2hrs and still no one answered my call and when I get in my car to drive there, jokes on me cause they're only open for 4hrs! what a scam! Update**** On the day I wrote the initial review, I finally caved and drove an hour+ into downtown Philly, went in there and met the kindest assistance and the whole thing took less than 5mins 😫😂 moral of the story, I guess just go in person? Will upgrade my rating from 1 to 3 stars now
