Good selection of supplies. Only been to the one store so don’t have much point of reference but I think the prices are fine! The staff are immensely helpful and always happy to chat about the process, give ideas, and help out a beginner.
Wow, worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. I had some equipment to sell, and knowing they are not always buying I called ahead. I was told they were buying so I packed up my truck and drove over. When I got there the man at the front desk gave me a dirty look like "what the hell do you want" before I even said anything, then when I told him I had stuff to sell he said "who did you talk to? we're not buying" Like it should matter at that point. Any business that wants repeat customers would gladly make the deal, then speak to the new guy after if they don't want it happening again. I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I'm making Mead for the first time in 50 years and these nice people not only put up with me they helped me out and even showed me some things that weren't around when I helped my Grandpa as a kid. Made things easier for me and I'm proud to say that I am getting great reviews on my efforts

F.H. may not have had the items I sought, however they had severe I needed. The staff were courteous, the place was clean and overall it was a great experience. The only reason I rated them 4 rather than 5 was they didn't have the prefabbed lines I needed.
Friendly staff, nice place, very organized. Seems to have a large selection, but a lot is behind the counter, so be sure to ask for help .. they are very patient and attentive. Very reliable and always open. Excellent.
I came here to pick up things for brewing sake. They surprisingly had literally everything even koji and polished rice. The guy who works there named Tom was so knowledgeable. I have experience in different related hobbies so I have a pretty good knowledge base and had done quite a bit of research before shopping, and he still helped immensely. One of the most knowledgeable specialist I have ever talked to. If there was something higher than 5 stars I would give it. Thank you.
Drove all the way out to the store from Oregon City after work on a Wednesday night to pick up a co2 tank. Hours on web are until 6:30. Got there at 6:19 to find them closed. Hours posted on door are until 6:30. No cars in lot, totally dark inside- they had been closed for a while. It's pretty crappy to waste time and money (gas) to try and support a small, local business and come to find out they really don't care about their customers. Make sure you call ahead if you plan on going in case they just decide to close randomly.
Steinbart's website works well - I was able to find what i was looking for. My order was ready in about 32 hrs. Pick-up was quick and easy.Steinbart personnel were knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend Steinbart to beginning and experienced home brewers.
