Not just beer wine and cider, they have an extensive draft department, cheese and pickle making, canning and bottling supplies, everything you imagine you could need and more.

Good selection with good prices! I was pleased to find them online. Order process went smooth. The flat rate shipping took a little longer than expected but in the middle of Corona 19, delays can be expected. After the package was received, one of the two yeast packages I ordered arrived on the verge of bursting. I contacted customer service and received a reply asking a few normal questions about the yeast in relation to the ice pack. The representative indicated that he wanted to investigate a little before sending a replacement. This is totally understandable. I responded and included a few photos. After 6 days without a reply, I sent a second email asking if my response had been received. The representative responded with the following… “How about this; Go ahead and use those yeasts as you normally would. Swelling can happen even under normal refrigerated conditions so let's not assume anything catastrophic before we have evidence that the yeast is bad. If the puffy pouch does not ferment a beer I'll send you a new one free of charge. Let me know your thoughts on this. I would not want to just send a new yeast out of the one you have is good but I'm also not willing to let you make beer with anything that isn't up to our standards so please let me know if this works for you or not.” I think you would agree that this is not a solution that would be satisfying to many. I responded that this was unacceptable and I would like a replacement yeast package to be sent. I even offered to return the original yeast package if needed. The representative indicated that he would now replace the yeast in question. After I agreed, I was informed that the yeast is no longer available and the representative offered to provide an alternative. I opted for a refund. The only reason I gave 2 stars vs 1 is because of their selection and price. If based on customer service alone, I would not give a star.

Went for the first time yesterday and I was very impressed. I got a lot of help and answers and it was done in a very respectful way. Meaning they did not make me feel like they knew everything and I knew nothing. I came from Salem and even though its a 45 minute drive it will be worth the trip. They are very well stocked and I felt welcomed .

This store is absolutely fantastic! They will spend all the time in the world with you talking about brewing, helping you to understand the process and nuances of it, without any pressure whatsoever to buy anything. However, they’re so inspiring that I always end up wanting to buy more stuff than I intended to when I came in! Truly a great place full of Highly skilled craftsmen, and outstanding customer service.

These guys have a very clean and well organized store. It is everything you could want it a brewery supply. Also l, most of the staff are also brewer's and have a huge knowledge base. They can practically see your mistakes before you make them and have been super helpful through the whole process. Thank you so much to staff for being awesome, inviting and willing to share their knowledge even with a complete newbie. Definately the people you want to do business with. They always have a huge selection of fresh malts and adjuncts to choose from and their yeast and hop variety is stellar.

I feel cheated that it took me years to find these folks! While my first order was small and mostly targeted to a single beer with one hard to find ingredient, I spent a good amount of time looking at the staples that I buy in larger quantities. The available selection and pricing were excellent, and shipping is a good deal for orders large and small. I'll be back . . . a lot.

So I recently made an online purchase here for a great priced lid but using my purchase method I accidentally chose the most expensive way to mail it. I emailed the company immediately several times and to my astonishment they called me the very next day and it was Saturday!!! They offered me a reasonable option to help my situation and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you F.H. Steinbart Co. you got a customer for life. If I lived on that side of the country I’d be enjoying your brew!

Great place, sad to hear it's going to be closing at month's end due to their landlord pricing them out of the space.
