My fiancé and I like the Power & Light apartments so much that we decided to stay instead of buying a house. Great amenities, helpful staff, friendly neighbors, and a location that is walking distance to a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants and the street car. I was looking into moving into downtown and these appartments looked amazing. My leasing agent, Jen, was super helpful and a delight to work with. She put this spot at the top of my list with her communication and knowledge of not only the appartments but the amenities around this complex.
Love this complex, the amenities and community. Living in a historical building brings a different appreciation to the downtown experience. The building is right next door to the main district and T-Mobile center however there were no noise concerns. I’ve had the best experience living here and appreciate all the monthly gatherings they host for there residents
Five stars. By far the most luxurious living experience you will find in the 64105. I have lived downtown prior to Power & Light Apartments. Nothing compares to this building. The ridiculous amount of amenities, friendly community, helpful staff, & spacious apartments w/ high-end appliances Oh, & historic oversized windows w/ incredible views has my heart. Location. Location. Location. Anything you need is less than a two block radius. If you are going to live downtown Kansas City, this is the place to do so.
BJ has been a true lifesaver from the moment I moved in. He always goes above and beyond, handling every task with remarkable skill and a positive attitude. His prompt response times and attention to detail show his dedication to our building. BJ is a vital part of our community, always ready with a helping hand. We are incredibly lucky to have him. (And I really appreciate him cleaning the grill like new every day!)
I could not speak any higher about the staff, amenities, and overall experience when I lived here. Every maintenance ticket was resolved within 24 hrs. Family and friends were amazed each time I showed off the Beacon Lounge, indoor dog park, and podcast studio. While I am no longer a resident, I miss my time at Power and Light greatly!
This building is one of the jewels of Kansas City. The architecture and decor always leave you in awe. The employees are also some of the kindest souls you will meet and are always happy and available to help any resident especially their maintenance technician Melissa who is always giving her all to make sure the building and residents have everything they need.
We have been fortunate to call the Power & Light Apartments home now for over two years. The building, amenities, staff, location and community are all first class. We have had such an incredible experience living downtown and are so thankful we chose this community to be apart of. I would make sure it’s on the top of your list if you are considering moving into the city!
I toured with Jen, one of the leasing agents here, and while I haven’t made a decision yet, I just wanted to give her a shoutout here. She is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. Anyone who has the pleasure of working with her in their apartment hunting process is in for a treat!
This luxury building has it all! An abundance of floor plans, amazing views, unique amenities, and the best residents anyone could ask for. The entire Community Staff is top notch! Whenever passing someone (Leasing, Facilities/Maintenance, Housekeeping & Security), in a common area, they always have a smile and are the 1st to say “hello”, “how are you”, or “have a good day”. Everyone is professional and personable and they truly care about your happiness living here.
