The folks running the place, especially Jayden who is the new community manager, are super friendly and always make sure you're happy. We LOVE Power and Light Apartments and have had the best experience in our first year here. The building is stunning and I love the historical integrity they have maintained throughout the building. The Beacon lounge is beautiful and our favorite place to bring guests. The amenities are convenient and top notch! The pool area is great for grilling with friends and getting a taste of the KC skyline. There is an off leash dog park conveniently located for our puppy to play and all the other dogs are well trained and friendly. Most of all we love the people working in the leasing office! They are professional and personable. They know all residents by name and really go above and beyond for us!

Perfect location and amazing staff! We looked for over a year at different apartments/condos. We feel in love with this one. Great layout, lots of room, walk-in closet(s), balcony and great view! It was one of the few that came with a nice dog park. The staff take a personal interest in you. They take time to know your name, as well as your animals names. The have great monthly events they plan for the residents. This complex is conveniently located near Power and Light District. It is also 1 block from the KC Street Car. They have a nice gym and spa area. The pool is amazing! The residents are all very polite and considerate. We love living here.

Power & Light Apartments are fantastic. It’s a great place for anyone looking to experience the city lifestyle. The property is well maintained, has great amenities, and within walking distance of many venues, bars, and restaurants. The staff is very professional and polite. The leasing agent Jen is very knowledgeable, personable, always genuine and eager to help.

We absolutely loved living in the Power and Light apartments! Our apartment was quiet, the amenities are great and every staff member was so kind and friendly! Maintenance requests were always addressed very quickly! The historical building and views from the roof are amazing.

Lived here for 2 years and have loved almost every minute of it. The location is prime and the amenities are great (love the on site gym). Staff is super nice and always quick to respond. Roof top pool is amazing...and you get to bring guests! Only complaint is that the elevators have gone out a few times, but they usually get it fixed pretty quickly.

One of the reasons I love living at the Power and Light Apartments is their dedication to resident wellness. The complimentary workout classes provided each month have been a game-changer for me. Not only do they help me stay active, but they also bring the community together, allowing us to bond over our shared wellness journeys. And let's not forget about the indoor jacuzzi at the spa - a true oasis of calm in the midst of everyday chaos. It's moments like these that make living here feel like a luxurious retreat.

I have lived here for over four years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. As an iconic part of the Kansas City skyline, the building is historic, charming, unique, and an overall very cool place to call home. It's not a perfect property, but what property is? The building's age inherently comes with occasional maintenance issues, however, over the past year and half I have noticed a positive change with management's efforts to address these maintenance challenges in a timely manner and keeping tenants informed with good communication. They have recently made very nice renovations to the gym and spa in the basement, and the rooftop pool has always been one of the best pools in Kansas City. And of course you have the rooftop lounge which is one of the coolest common areas in the city. While living here, my main concern has been the rent cost increase every year at lease renewal time. I have talked to several other tenants and the renewal quotes over the past years have been wildly inconsistent and sometimes downright egregious. I know a few people who have left the building because their renewal was ridiculously unfeasible. With that being said, my last renewal was reasonable, and in the past years, I was able to speak with the leasing office and they were willing to work with me and offered more reasonable rates. In general over the past year and a half, the property itself has improved, and management and the leasing office are definitely making more of a concerted effort to provide a good product for the tenants and community.

I’m looking around at different apartments in the downtown KC area for pricing/amenities to help me in my search and even though we didn't end up touring Power and Light Apartments yet due to my work schedule, Jen, the leasing agent, was incredible in providing all the necessary information we needed. Her responsiveness, thoroughness, and friendly demeanor made the browsing process smooth and informative. Jen took the time to answer our questions and provided detailed insights about the apartments and community. We felt genuinely supported and well-informed thanks to her efforts.
