Power & Light Apartments

We absolutely love living here! At first we weren't sure about downtown living but the management team and residents made us feel right at home! Private parking and the long list of amenities are unmatched. We are impressed by the sound proofing efforts, rarely do we hear anyone that lives next to us and never have we heard anyone above or below! All maintenance issues are taken care of quickly and properly. If I had one complaint it would be to have more guest parking, I'm not sure why the empty parking lot next to the tower isn't utilized, however, I'm sure they have no control over that! We are so happy and can't wait to work our way up the building to an apartment with a private balcony! :)

We absolutely love it at the Power&Light Apartments. The amenities are fantastic for whatever you are looking for. We are extremely close to the grocery store and the movie theater. The dog park is awesome for our baby girl. The people in the office are amazing and the security is phenomenal. We have multiple restaurants and bars close by. All of our friends love coming to hang out in downtown KC.

I’ve lived in Power and Light Apartments for over two years and I’ve really enjoyed the experience. The staff are friendly, respectful, and trustworthy. Any issues/concerns I’ve had have been handled professionally and in a timely manner. I was also impressed when they provided masks for residents who worked in healthcare or were over 65 during COVID-19. Both management and staff seem to care about the residents and our experience living here. The amenities/art deco style is wonderful. Views from the beacon lounge are incredible. The pool is beautiful and a fun place to socialize. I’ve made friends with several people by attending resident events or just hanging out by the pool. Soundproofing could be better, but you expect some noise living in an apartment. Overall a great place to live!

Kristin and Bettina in the leasing office have really gone above and beyond for me and my husband. If there’s an issue, they see to it. I’ve never seen this level of hospitality from a luxury apartment complex (as we all know, most don’t even come close). They are the reason a certain standard is met with P&L Apartments. Those two deserve all the praise and for their sake, a raise ;).

We have lived at the Power & Light apartments now for a little over a year. We toured everything downtown had to offer. Old buildings to brand new builds. Every time we went somewhere, we kept comparing everything to Power & Light. The apartment has top of the line appliances and fixtures. The amenities are beautiful and elegant. The building has a "Gatsby" feel to it. The 31st floor beacon lounge you can reserve for baby showers, birthday parties, or just for whatever has the best views of the city. The location of the Power & Light apartments is perfect. One block for the grocery store and streetcar. Two blocks from KC Live where we have watched many Chiefs games. Katie and her staff are top notch. Security and the Maintenance team are on top of all your needs. We love it here!!

We love living at the Power and Light Apartments. The space is great, the finishes are nice and the amenities excellent. We particularly enjoy the fitness center. All of the staff are very accommodating and responsive to our requests. Our neighbors are wonderful and we've made many new friendships. Best of all, we enjoy the location, right in the heart of downtown with everything we desire within walking distance. We recommend that others consider this wonderful living option..

I moved here last December from another apartment building overlooking KC Live. The difference between the two is astounding. My apartment is quiet: both from the street and from the inside. I hear no one walking above me, and nothing from the street. Quality windows make all the difference! This is a very well done building. The staff are exceptional. They are professional and responsive. The residents are grown ups who understand how to live successfully in an apartment setting. This building is also very pet friendly. The location is perfect: close to the epicenter of the action, but far enough away that the crowds aren't outside your front door. I have absolutely no complaints. Oh, and the view from the Beacon Lounge at the top of the building will take your breath away.

We're so happy to be here. Nowhere else has felt more like home! The staff is responsive and helpful (though rarely ever needed), the community is quiet, and the amenities are fabulous! The location is one of the best features, too- a very short walk to a grocery store, the streetcar, restaurants, movie theater, and more. It feels like luxury, but at a similar price point as other downtown spots with less to offer.

We’ve visited the Power & Light Apartments twice, and it’s fantastic! The views are amazing, the layout is beautiful, every entrance and floor has secured entry, all community areas are very clean, and everything you’d need is within walking distance! If you’re looking to move to KC, I’d definitely recommend these apartments!

I really enjoyed living here over the past 12 months. I had previously lived at Onelight and in my experience at the Power & Light Apartments was a lot more positive and I in my view a much nicer place to live. Management is always professional, the leasing and move in process was smooth and maintenance is responsive to any issues. I lived in the historic tower, these apartments are great, I had a large 1 bedroom format that with an efficient layout and perfect for my needs. The apartment is well insulated from downtown noise and the weather (I rarely had to run the AC or heating for extended periods over summer/winter), amenities like the pool, gym and media rooms are also nice. Overall if you're looking to live downtown KC I recommend living here.
