Dogs are unsanitary & don’t belong in grocery stores. Dogs lick & drool & shed & bite. QFC hires security guards, but these poorly trained men who scare me more than make me feel safe don’t care about preventing dogs from entering. QFC policy states that dogs are not allowed (unless professionally trained seeing eye dogs). I don’t want to be attacked by a dog while shopping. I don’t want food that’s been drooled on. I am allergic to dog saliva & fur. The aisles are already cramped & it’s very hard to avoid a dog when you’re stuck in an aisle with carts, stock people & other customers. Ugh. Why is this store so dirty? It’s depressing to shop there. I don’t go unless it’s an emergency (since Whole Foods a few blocks away closed, this is now my closest grocery store). The employees act super depressed about their jobs. It’s the least happy place on earth. And, you might get bitten by dog. Don’t go. Whole Foods delivers.
Always my neighborhood grocery store. Both elevators fixed and not so pissy smelling. Win for QFC.
The security team here is horrible. They hire want to be cops that will treat paying customers like criminals.
I love these stores. Everything is beautifully displayed and fresh. Try the deli sandwiches and hot case. Also they have Boar's Head deli meats.
Both Broadway locations are great. Friendly staff for the most part. I'd been pregnant til the 22nd and there's a couple security guards that were always so sweet and asking about how it was going and how I was. There are a few bad ones though who honestly should be fired immediately for numerous reasons. I once overheard a graveyard shift guard call a person by a gay slur which was terrible to say the least and he was always picking on some of the homeless people. But overall I usually have great experiences here.
My experience with QFC has been positive overall. The store is well-maintained, the product selection is diverse, and the quality of fresh goods stands out compared to many competitors. The staff is usually courteous and willing to assist, which makes the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable.”
Great location and a good selection for a city supermarket. The security is well done.
I bought a chuck roast from this QFC. Not only did I notice it was wrapped twice, it looked like it had been dyed. This qfc is opening old meat, making it look fresh, repackaging it and selling it. Be careful, this is how food illness is spread. Protect your families! Will be reporting.
This place is a great store. Rarely a long line. Easy to access by multiple bus routes & the trolly. Has an upper parking lot as well as underground garage parking. If you're gonna be there more than a 1/2 hour, make sure you pay for your parking.Because that's the only amount of time that they will validate it for. And there are people in the parking lot watching to see if you get a ticket or not from the machine. Also, make sure to have your receipt ready if you use you self check out, They have police & good security There validating purchases. The only thing about this store is there's usually a bunch of unsavory types hanging out outside the entrance. But this is to be expected Close to downtown seattle. I've never had a problem with anyone.
Ive shopped here 3+ times a week for a year and loved it up until recently. If you show up 15 minutes before closing time, they wont let you in for diapers... The security guards act like they are protecting gold or state secrets. Ill get to know them and they'll relax their guard, but are soon replaced allowing the new ones to treat me like shit again. Asking me to put my 700 dollar bag on the floor while they harass homeless people. (They might deserve it sometimes...) even as a known good customer. The security guard felt the need to stop me after I had left to leave my bag outside and returned without it. The guy explained that he needed to see what was in my pockets so he doesn't accuse me of stealing? Ill never return, to hell with their weird power and control issues.
