There is always tens of carts all around parking lot. And restaurant depot employees do not care about it. It cause unsafe parking environments for cars.
Tremendous selection of cookware, kitchen accessories, and food. It was all Stockwell and priced very good
A big warehouse stocked with bulk food items meant for wholesale sale to restaurants. The prices are very competitive. Most, but not all, items are way below the retail price. They also sell some accessories and commercial refrigerators. Dress warmly for the refrigerated section.
Good place, good prices, Needs more communication skills
First time there! They have a large selection of products/supplies. Prices are within reason. I will be buying things from there vs webstaurant.
Has improved, but getting checked out is often very time consuming.
They should have two separate lines at the register. One for people shopping for their homes, another for people that shop for their work. The people shopping for their house can wait in line all day
If I could give this place zero stars I would! EVERYBODY THAT WORKS HERE IS RUDE! Majority of the workers don't speak English. One of the workers pushed my cart out of the way twice while I was standing there! I know my review will not stop making people come here because this is the only Restaurant Depot in Jacksonville. I have never been treated so bad in a store in my life! When I went to ask someone who could speak English for help letting him know I couldn't reach something his response was if I had seen someone working over there and I said no. I then told him about how the employee pushed my stuff out the way then he said we'll was it in the way! Wow! Is that how we are treating customers now. This is crazy! I hope I never have to return to this place again!
I I was unable to locate any item that surpassed Walmart's cost, or BJs. The organization was lacking, with forklift loading shelves being available while one was shopping. This might be beneficial for bulk buyers.
This place is not even deserving of one star however, I had to give something to write a review. It is very rare that almost every negative comment made about a company is correct but in this case, believe the comments, they are EXTREMELY ACCURATE!!!! I run a small, school based concession stand and it’s hard to stay on budget when shopping here because half of the items are not priced on the shelf. The freezer section is the worst when it comes to items not being properly priced. I was told prices can literally change by the hour which makes it difficult to post item prices. REALLY PEOPLE?!?!? 🤔 Lots of damaged and open food boxes in the freezer section. TONS of individual items on every aisle and when I picked up a single item, I was told by a front end manager “we don’t sell these items as individual but in a case or a pack so you can’t buy it.” Why have them on the shelf as individual items? When I asked this question, I was told they have new stockers that don’t know better. Well, I blame that on the lack of adequate training and NOT the stockers. Those outdated, multi tier carts are hard to push especially when trying to navigate around all the pallets in the middle of the isle and lift drivers. HATE the isle redesign!!! Instead of being able to quickly cut through an isle if you make a wrong turn, you now have to walk the entire isle with that bulky blue cart in tow. Shelves are empty but shrink wrapped pallets in the middle of the floor, that the average human can’t penetrate, are everywhere. I have limited the amount of items I purchase here because I feel Restaurant Depot definitely does not value me as a customer ! 😔 Lastly, how many items can one possibly steal in the 10 steps it takes to get to the front door from the register?!?!? If they put half the effort in store improvements and training than they do in checking my receipt, it may not be a bad place to shop! I see after every negative comment the store manager asked for details of the customers experience; however, according to reviews there have been NO CHANGES!!! Please don’t pretend you are interested in our feedback to improve the customer experience, especially if the experience is getting progressively worse! Shame on you!!
