I haven’t had a lot of experience with Restaurant Depot yet just twice, but so far it’s been great. They have fresh seafood, good prices, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. It’s a solid place to shop when you need quality ingredients without spending too much.
Never buying frozen salmon fillets from here again. They looked fresh at the time of purchase, but a couple of days later, when I took them out of the freezer to thaw, they turned into a jelly-like mess. Had to throw the entire batch away. Some are priced as same as COSTCO.
The manager is super kind and helpful . I can’t say the same for customer service supervisor and employees. The store is not that clean or organized , definitely seen better Restaurant depots in different states . I hope they can value the constructive feedback. Also frozen refrigerator doors are not working properly and I have seen that they are always kept open .
Worst customer service, rude cashiers and management has a bad attitude.
I called in today to ask about prices of some things! Over Concerns with trumps tariffs on china!!! And was spoken to in a manner that i think was cold and disrepectful!! I do not know but it left me feeling hurt! I guess it was more to do in the manner in which she said what she said she was like either go on the site for the prices or come to the store! But she just sounded rude and angry as if i was a burden to her in some way! Dont think i will go to the store now!!! Because of her attitude!!!! I DONT HAVE A ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY THIS WAS A SIMPLE PHONE CALL I MADE TO INQUIRE ABOUT THIS COMPANY BUT YOU CAN TELL A GOOD COMPANY FROM A BAD ONE WITH THE WAY THEY INTERACT AND SPEAK TO THEIR CUSTOMERS THROUGH THE PHONE!!!

If I could give a 0 start rating, I promise to God that I would of. First of all, thus place is a mess, super dirty and unorganized. But on top of all these, their customer service skills are unethical. The cashiers are super rude and the managers...well I don't even know how they got this position. Especially one of them, that first, back on december, I went with my mother to buy a box of lobsters, and this manager response to my request of opening the cabinet where the boxes were, was "you have to have money to be able to buy them, if you don't, do not waste my time. Then today, while my mother was in line to get check out, she yelled at her disrespectfully when my mother moved to a different register that was getting free. I really don't understand why these employees are going to work when they clearly don't want to be there. Don't make our days miserable becuase your day it's already miserable or have any personal problem. First of all you need to be a professional doing your job with customer in general(race, gender, etc.). We are there to spend money at this store, not to ask for any favor and as customer the least we deserve is to be treated with respect, something everyone in this stablishment lacks of. We wish a wonderful day to whoever reads this input and hopefully could do something about it to fix this situation with professionalism for better customers experience while doing shopping as at least is supposed to be. Thank you
Most of the people that leave bad reviews are the reason why they get treated in the manner they do.. rob always stops to listen his crew is always under pressure from people constantly needing maid service instead of seeking out for them selves.. not their falt a truck is late or items not showing up...! You want.. concierge service.Be ready to pay for it... but you don't and you still come here day in and day out so leave your chip at the door and say hello or good day with a smile it will get you farther than you can imagine...! This is not a field trip place for weekend warriors or daycare... almost everyone speaks English your attitude is what provokes them to not understand you. If you don't see it on the shelf, ask manager. If you order enough of it, they do special orders. They offer a great customer service experience...!
