Needs to be better organized. Clean your carts. Great place for us business owners, however. Update. They've hung in there ok during covid. Still have stock matters and long lines but they've brought in a gentleman to get the kinks out finally.
The pricing is good, but what i need is never in stock and their stock workers are not helpful, i tried to ask 3 people to help me get something off the top shelf but no one did as they don't understand English very well, so I had to climb on top of a cart to get what I needed. People in there are just generally rude i.e. other customers and checkout employees don't use the best logic or common sense when dealing with people
I think the ONLY reason this place survives is due to there being no other competitors. It seems dirty whenever I go in there. Wish they had smaller double-decker carts for those who don't need a big cart (those things are a pain to maneuver in an already crowded aisle). Due to it being 30mins from restaurant, I like to call if I only need to pick up one thing to make sure its in stock but, no one ever answers. The lines are ALWAYS horrible here, although I've witnessed employees lingering by the front door including management (why not use those employees to open another register if they're standing around on your clock, using your labor?!). MOST of the staff are unprofessional/rude (there are just a few "good eggs" in that bunch)
Oh wow. Where do I begin?! This customer service is awful. While we were checking out, my aunt forgot to scan her card and this African American lady laid her hand on her and told her “go behind me” and had an unprofessional and rude attitude. (Pic attached below). We moved on the side to let my aunt scan my card. Next thing I knew, she told us to move over and then rudely said “oh you are in the way!” Then, this said lady proceeded to say we are “attacking her.” Then told us to go behind the line. What an unprofessional attitude with rude service. Is this how you treat your regulars too? If you are in retail/grocery, is this the type of the unprofessional and unnatural attitude you have towards people? These workers decide to abuse their power just cuz they have a low paying job. Nahh. Leave that attitude at the door and do your job professionally and with the right attitude. Stop being a victim and take responsibility for yourself. Wish I can give this 0 stars.
We at Gringos Tacos Saint Augustine love your place- I take the ride 45 minutes each way because you are on average 26% less than the food trucks! Your staff is always professional, and helpful and ,Wes is super nice. Love me some Joann too even when she seems grumpy - makes me laugh. Even those kamikaze fork lift drivers honking around are nice. Great selection, unbeatable prices. Only pet peeve the stickers showing the price on items are consistently missing- however I already know i wont find it cheaper anywhere else so i just buy it.
Was having issues submitting the membership request and when i went into the store spoke with a lady Brittany Duncan and she was fabulous in assisting and getting my membership goin and active. Yhanks Brittany
Constant problem at this location with wait times in line. They promise to open another register if more than three people are in line but rarely if ever do. Otherwise good place. 4 people in front of me. Three behind. Just as many in the other line. Employees standing around. Just appears lazy. The Tampa location rarely has this issue. Maybe some offsite training is in order. Would be an awesome place if they could just get with it on their own promised policy... not to mention one you do get to register the cashiers are usually unfriendly to down right rude. Everyone else is usually very friendly and helpful though
A few weeks ago I went to Restaurant Depo. I absolutely love their products . Once I left the cashier , I walked up to the African American lady standing at the booth. I politely said, excuse me mama twice. I stood there for about a min. I know she saw me but she never once turned to acknowledge I was there. This is a sad day when your job position make you think that you don't have time to answer a simple question. My goodness you are in the wrong business if you can't answer a simple question that would have only taken 3 seconds to answer.
This place is absolute trash. Order what you need on Amazon guys. They’ve now discontinued so many things it’s hard to even find the stuff you’ve been buying for 20 years. Cancelled membership, now going to places like Shepps until something better comes to town.
Had to give 1 star but would like to give 0. Prices wrong on the shelf for the item. Place was a mess. Have to wait for forklifts to go by when they should wait for their customers beeping their horns. Cashier Tiffany swears infront of children. Ray was mad about the voids when his employees don't know how to play match with the product and the price tags. Spent an extra 2 hours in there because it was so unorganized and all the voids. Would rather pay extra and go to a grocery store. Also please mop your floors it stinks in there.
