The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Always Always have them check computer to see if the product you want is available don’t just go looking yourself on floor. This Jacksonville location majority the time NEVER NEVER have the product on the shelves in its right place at all… I didn’t see the chilli anywhere and several others customers looking also when we asked a employee driving a machine he said “ if you don’t see it we don’t have it “ I asked lady at front desk she checked computer and said “ we have 40 units of chilli with beans and 21 units without beans “ the same guy on machine found it top of shelves pulled it down with machine and said to the lady “ you only getting ONE CAN DAMM “ I said “ you can’t sell any if it’s not on floor reachable so how many sales have you really lost for this company “ I recently went they have NOOOOOOO Big C French Fries At All said “ Next Week “ that’s 4 days ago Lol,,, Listen The Bread guy older white guy that brings the Bread always late is the worse in the Business and prices are ridiculous totally ridiculous foot long / & Cony Hot Dog Bread prices are ridiculous $12. lol Crazy… I will say tho, Every time I’ve ever been there the manager looks completely frustrated dealing with employees, but when asked any questions buy customers he answers and assists and always been very very professional I’ve never felt like I was bothering him after asking about any products he immediately help me out every time. Great Job and we all understand that Good Help is Hard to Find… It’s just completely frustrating coming there dealing with your team majority the time and a lot if not all the Food Trucks Vendors in Jacksonville are Talking about it.
Unfortunately in Jacksonville Florida we have no other place to go. I am a frequent customer of Restaurant Depot and for that reason I buy and later check the prices. Last week I bought 15 dz of eggs and when I got to the office I looked at the receipt and the price of the eggs seemed absurd. I compared them with Winn Dixie, Publix, Walmart and Aldi and discovered that they were DOUBLE the price at Restaurant Depot. I went to make the complaint and they told me that it was my problem and that if I wanted to write to the Corporation because they could not do anything. The Customer service is terrible.
They have what you need but customer service is TERRIBLE !
Hello, I hope they fire all the staff they have, to give the opportunity to people who really need to work, yesterday afternoon I went shopping and I couldn't find anyone to help me, a lady arrived with a bad attitude, I chose what I had to buy At the time of paying I asked the cashier if the heater I was carrying had a guarantee and she replied rudely I don't know what I answered she can investigate and she didn't know with a bad attitude and insulting I told her how could I not know if she I used to work there, you can't buy something that you don't know if it's broken or doesn't work, she went out like crazy to look for the manager speaking badly about me to the other clients, making a big drama, 😂😂😂 the most ridiculous thing was when they moved me to where the manager was super frustrated treating me despotly I asked the same thing about the guarantee of the heater and he told me that he didn't know the other cashier yelled she doesn't need to buy here so I gave up since I'm not going to get things for free I told him to cancel the things for me and he told me that I had to return the things in his place. Out of politeness I did it but I regret having a membership with you since I am paying not asking for a gift. Very bad service.
Worse place ever everytime I go there's a issue I wish there was a place closer to me. Today after waited for about 30min I had the fork lift operator called someone in the freezer for help for the 2nd timed even though he was operating the forklift while on the phone putting everyone in danger I know he will deny it coz he was wearing a hoodie.then after telling the person in the freezer department what I needed he just walk by like whatever the store manager came by and ask what I needed the freezer guy said he was sultuck doing something else.then I was confronted by the meat manager (John Chavez Flores)acting like a street thug like he wanted to fight me VERRY VERRY UNPROFESSIONAL. It took all this for me to get 6 cases of philly meat.this is not my first encounter at this place but because of my loyalty to my customers I have to put up with this.by the way they need a negative star rating option P.S I know that nothing will come put of this but maybe one day things will get better there.we as paying customers shouldn't have to feel like we have to argue or feel threatened by bullies at this establishment Very unhappy Customer Since 2017
I do not like to leave bad reviews but I shop here and time and time again and have horrible service! They have one price listed or on their app and charge you a different amount and then won’t fix it. You wait for 20-30 minutes in line then when they are going to actually fix the mistake, you have to wait in line to get it returned and then you have to go back and wait in line again to get your money back or adjust the price. I switching to a distributor next week once it is set up will not use you guys again! Today staff was at least friendly however most days they are not! All around 8 out of 10 experiences are terrible! You guys need to start doing better or you’re going to lose more and more customers! :(
I was able to get in and out quickly as I was in a hurry. I do have one constructive criticism, Forklift drivers could be a little more cautious and wait for customers to pass.
I own a business that i purchase for at this location weekly over the last 3 years. It continues to amaze me how stressful and time consuming it can be to just purchase $1000 on groceries. Just today I was threatened to be thrown out for the second time in a month. For context 1 was for picking up a bag of rice and unknowingly spilling a small amount because it had a slit in it probably made with a box cutter I.e. an employee. The second was for giving a supervisor my feedback about neglecting to help me with an employee-made problem when I asked. I simply informed her by not helping me gives the impression that she didn’t care. No raised voice, no profanity, very professional. Her response was to tell me not to come back. It makes me very uncomfortable to know I’m not welcome and if I do the slightest thing wrong I can be kicked out.
Too many people in this store that don’t speak English you ask them something they are no English no English
Restaurant Depot is reasonable in price for what I needed. It is congested with workers stocking shelves and at checkout but they quickly opened another register to move people along. Overall, I'll continue to shop there as needed.
