I was killing time before a meeting. I bought an electrolyte drink with Zero Sugar. It immediately refreshed me. I got some breakfast items that were just enough and would stay fresh until I could get home later on in the evening. The staff were so nice. It was a Trade Mark Safeway experience for sure. It set me up for going into an intense meeting with a genuine smile on my face. Thank you.

Decent sized Safeway, layout can take some getting used to but they have a variety of departments and a Starbucks inside. Sometimes they are out of products and the prices are typical of Safeway but the food is good. I do like that they have a good sized self checkout section and an employee always there to help if you get stuck using the machines. Sometimes there's only one cashier if you're waiting in line so that can take awhile.

Lovely staff. Always seemed stressed on Cheap Chicken Mondays. Unfortunately limited stock of meat and produce. Sometimes the pre-made food is just not up to standard. Eating potato salad at the moment where the potatoes are not fully cooked (or I guess I’m not really eating it since I don’t care to eat raw potatoes)

Interesting store. Elevator to the parking lot is crazy.

Basically this store has no employmees. One for. All the self checkouts and security. At what point do I call myself an employee since I am the cashier, have to pay for bags, and keep getting price gouged?

Enjoy going to to this Safeway when I find myself downtown. Prices are considerably lower than at the two other large grocery stores on busy Mercer Street. Staff member Spenser is always helpful in spite of a lot of customers needing assistance st the same time. Departments like the Deli & Fish Department weren't fully opened for business at 10:30 AM, the last time I was there. A security officer's presence at the entrance is welcome at this urban location.

The store is great. The young man in the deli wearing a black shirt had a sour attitude. He rolled his eyes while he helped the lady ahead of me. I was vested and I'm not familiar with the area, so I stayed. I had a question, and he seemed to frustrated. It's his job to offer customer service. It's my job to ask how fresh the food is. I got my food and left. The cashier was pleasant. I forgot to ask for ketchup, so I went back. This time I asked the man wearing all white. He was very pleasant. The rude kid can use an attitude adjustment. I won't return.

Pretty solid shopping experience. Parking is convenient - thank goodness. With the location, that was my main worry. Obviously the layout isn't exactly standard, and it's not "suburban supermarket" sized, but they do make good use of the space. It's not super-well stocked, but they do manage to fit in every department I'd hope to find there, so while the selection isn't particularly deep (like having tons of alternatives for any given item), it is at least broad. So that's nice.

I’m a resident of Seattle. I travel a lot and shop at Safeway all over the country. I can tell you this is the worst Safeway franchise I have ever been to. I wouldn’t even call it a Safeway. Employees don’t want to be there and are often confrontational. The employees in the deli and the meat department seem to have it more together. Past that there doesn’t seem to be a team effort on the surface from the entire store. It’s convenient to pop in and out but I usually run into a problem with either a customer or an employee. That’s the entire point though. It’s a convenience store not a grocery store. Never again. It makes me sad for the historic neighborhood of Queen Anne.
