A few years ago this was a great thrift store to shop. Prices have gone up too much. When you look down the aisle and see nothing but one color tag and it's not the sales colors and only find 5 or 6 of the sales colors on a complete aisle... multiple times.... it's because they are doing it on purpose. Purposely putting tags that are not on sale and won't be for next couple weeks. Why scam your customers? When the man managed this location it was packed all the time and on the 50% sales days the line was all the way around the store. It was priced like thrift stores should be.

Very dirty store over priced and no fitting rooms I am better off at dds or ross but one lady there in the linens was very respectful and helpful. But this store is very nasty will not be going back.

I recently stopped by Texas Thrift in Arlington, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much it had to offer. The store is spacious, well-organized, and easy to browse—definitely one of the cleaner and more neatly arranged thrift stores I’ve visited. The selection is huge, with a mix of clothing, home décor, accessories, and unique finds that you don’t come across every day. Prices were reasonable, and I noticed plenty of color-tag sales throughout the store, which made shopping even better. Staff members were helpful and friendly, and the checkout process was quick and smooth even with a busy crowd. Overall, Texas Thrift Arlington is a great place to shop if you enjoy thrifting, treasure-hunting, or simply getting quality items at affordable prices. I’ll definitely be returning to see what new gems they put out next!

It's pretty well organized. I used to shop here about 10 years ago when I lived in the area. It's always had great finds when you're willing to take the time to look. Now, however, there are NO DRESSING ROOMS, as they used to have before. So if you go, be prepared to try on what you can in the aisles. Forget about trying on pants. I did see a sign for restrooms, but didn't go back there. This is an improvement from years before when you had to go to Dollar General or Big Lots (now a Spirit Halloween 🎃) if mother nature called. Oh, and the smell is still the same. It's tolerable, that's all I can say. A little side note: the sign on the building shows "Arms of Hope" with a silhouette of a family holding hands. To me, that implies charity. However, the sign on the door clearly says that it is a "for profit" store, like Goodwill.

DO NOT SHOP here until they get a better management staff. First a toy my son wanted didnt have a price tag, so my 60 year old mom went to ask the floor supervisor, Keisha, about the price. She rolled her eyes and smacked on her gum and gave her attitude as if she wanted it for free. Then we were double charged and instead of them just giving us cash or store credit, they made me and my 60 year old mom wait around for 20 mins, so they could "do a report." The manager, Lidia, I never saw and she was the one having us wait for 20 mins to find the refund paperwork, and the floor supervisor, Keisha, was so rude and disrespectful, as if I was trying to take the $10 out of her pocket and then going to tell us what we should've did at the register, but then tried to tell us about a special going on. I haven't seen customer this bad in a while. This incident happened on Dec 11, 2025 and I still havent received my refund.

I was checking out when an employee- I'm guessing the lead manager- looked at one of my purchases and said, "How much did you pay for that? Seven dollars? It should have been more. I'm going to say something to the staff about pricing stuff!" This was followed by, "I would have snatched it had I seen it earlier!" That strongly indicates that employees skim donations before putting items on the shelves. The prices are ridiculously high. Shoes are about ten dollars. Why pay that amount when you can go to Ross across the street and buy a brand new pair of shoes for just a little bit more? A bag of beanie babies was $15. A bag with three wrestling figurines was $20. This is supposed to be a THRIFT store. The staff are extremely unpleasant here. They will shove past you without saying "Excuse me." One employee let out a very sarcastic "Wow." when my elderly mother did did not move out of her way fast enough. Fellow customers are unbearably rude here as well for some unknown reason. It's just an unpleasant experience.

Love that there's 50% off orange and 30% off white tags M-F! On the yearly holidays like Labor Day, Mothers Day etc., they have 50% off everything!! A lot more things cheaper than Goodwill. Not many items in the furniture section but I'm assuming that has to with donations. I must say plenty of clothes and shoes!
