I like the quality of the clothes but what I don’t like is the rude employees there. I was trying to look for clothes and they wanted to fix and organize and the lady kept getting on my way. So rude!!! Every time I go I spend a lot of money because I buy a lot.
Dirty and over priced. Dont buy any towels/blankets sold in a bags, they will be completely ripped... Its literally trash!
Been coming here for years and they used to have incredible prices but now they’ve raised everything. Saw a pair of beat up raggedy cowboy boots for $60. Sweaters and jackets that used to be 10-15 are now 25-30+. Huge selection, and still good prices on kids toys but the clothes are now overpriced. Probably won’t be returning anymore.
Corporate greed at its finest. This place was wonderful up until a few months ago. The prices have absolutely skyrocketed - we're talking almost full blown, retail prices. They had a cordless, "vintage" house phone for $37! Half used/burnt candles for $5. Shoes without laces, some with odors, for $20. $17 for a blow dryer - come on. Random household decor/trinkets are also insanely priced. Don't even get me started on the toy section (no clue about prices). The entire section needs to be moved to the FRONT of the store so the staff/managers can keep an eye on things. If you go on a weekend or one of the 50% off sale days, you can most certainly expect a bunch of toys strewn all over the ground/store with a bunch of unruly kids running around with no parents in sight. I am giving two stars because of a few of the staff members. One manager is great (Monica, I think? - tall, thin). The other manager -- yikes. There are a few clerks that are also very nice, then there are a few that could use an attitude adjustment.
This used to be my favorite local thrift store to shop at couple years ago. But now the prices are outrageous!! Idk if it’s because it got more popular or because they have new self checkout machines. Lol but there is good finds. But it’s always packed now and prices went up.
Texas Thrift used to be one of my favorite spots but this last time was the last time I visit them. I was alone in an aisle when a man began masturbating in front of me. Two other women noticed it and when we reported it to the supervisor, she was not super helpful. Even the employee I reported this to did not react & just pointed me to the supervisor. This store's lack of basic customer service is mind boggling, not to mention basic human decency. Prices are jacked, no fitting rooms, terrible customer service, and now public indecency?
Employees were very rude and not helpful when the checkout wasn’t working. She spoke to me like I was an idiot when the machine was messing up. Not my fault your machine isn’t working properly.
The store is huge with lots of items. Kisha helped us at checkout and she was amazing!!
I give this place 3 stars because I love the music carousel I bought from here but the disorganization was OFF the charts and the woman at the cash register had no idea what she was doing. She wouldn't sell me these hard plastic mask because "there isn't a price sticker" on them. Like who even knows how long they'd be sitting on a shelf with no price on them? I doubt they even do a product check, they probably just take whatever doesn't look/seem broken and try to resell it. What I don't understand is why she couldn't spend a few seconds and make a price for them. They are virtually worthless but I really wanted them for a collection but it's fine- it's their loss after all.
