Massive! Not at all what I was expecting. One of the best thrift stores I have ever been to. The staff are friendly, color code sales, I found too many goodies, and very clean. First time using self-checkout at a thrift store and I am amazed!
I love everything about this place Please sign up for the text messaging when you walk through from the front to the end everything is organized clean as quick as people buy their restocking The staff is fine even if they can't speak or understand English that much they're so loving kind and helping and the managers oh my god there's two of them a younger one and one you know middle-aged and they are the best They it's like they know everybody's names and every time I go in there they make sure they tell me why don't you ever come on the 50% off days now I do but I got to save money because everything's beautiful nothing's old tour and if it is they won't sell it because they only put the best for you I feel like this if I have a $200 purse and a $2 purse if my house burnt they all going to burn the same This is an amazing place especially this location and here are a few things that I found there I could keep going and going and going just take your time look at the stitching the zippers the buttons from the jury to the purses to the shoes just take your time be a thrifty
My very first time in this thrift store was this afternoon. The store is very clean and organize ,they have a nice selection of clothing, shoes and other merchandise. I have been a thriftier for close to 40 years and I never had received such warmth and awesome customer service until today when I had a question regarding an item. I was referred to Amy a supervisor who was very in professional in assisting me both friendly and resourceful of her store. Texas Thrift , " You Rock ", thanks to Amazing Amy.
The absolute best, I was looking for a business casual fit and got a polo and fairly new leather shoes for under $20. An absolute steal, give it a try.
My experience was a good one. The place is huge and it was neat and clean. My wife and I found some good stuff. I found some really nice Polo shoes and a Polo shirt that's good quality and 2 nice T shirts all under $40.
The staff in this place is awful. It ruins the environment and the way a customer feels. The hallways by the restroom smell awful due to the restrooms that are usually closed. No fitting rooms which makes no sense and to make it worse there is no refunds or exchanges. They indeed have a lot of inventory but the environment is awful. Definitely in need of new staff. They scream at each other when they are in need of help. Shows how they speak to the customs like they are just workers. They also believe my own purse was not mine and wanted me to pay for it till I further explain that it was mine.
Texas Thrift in Arlington has gone down hill with their grossly inflated prices, and dark dirty store as well. The managers are rude. The tag to a pair of jeans got ripped off when I was taking them off the hanger, and this manager made some rule that that she can’t sell them then accused me changing the price. I didn’t even argue I just walked out. $54 dollars for a pair of jeans that frayed hem, had holes and missing stones & studs. Come on. Save your money go to hulen thrift for Collin thrift even Texas thrift in hurst is better than the one in arlington !!!!. They have better pricing! The arlington location should be shut down cause the store is so run down!!!
Do not go thinking you find any good deals. You will not. I Looked at a wilson jacket they were asking more than I can buy new. They had a nice pyrex dish and asking 40% more than ebay. This place must be taking a page out of the greed will book. Just sad to see places that get everything donated take advantage of the public. Don't waste your time if you do be prepared to over pay.
This used to be my favorite thrift store in all of DFW. Now their prices are outrageous. I put some pictures to show what I mean... 2nd to last photo is an old lightweight quilt. Last photo is a beat up duffle bag with a hole in it....
Items are overpriced for items that were donated. No fitting rooms so your loss if it dont fit. Sales are final.
