Girls, look no further! This is your place to recover post procedure. I am from Colorado and needed a place to stay because I was traveling by myself (sans kids!!) and Sophie took such good care of me. Her spotless recovery center and delicious meals made me feel so comfortable that I didn't want to leave! I will be hopefully be staying with her for my secondary surgery. THIS IS YOUR SURGICAL RECOVERY CENTER! Staff is helpful and very responsive. I would give 10 stars!
I stayed at Zen Recovery for after my MMO. I had alot done and Sopie was there for me helping me in middle of night because I was in pain. She is amazing she will go with you to post op appointments and wait for you. I'm glad I chose this recovery home. Like they say you pay for what you get. This is a luxury recovery center with the best food too that she cooks. Thank you so much Sophie for taking such great care of me. 💞
I had a couple of procedures done. The care, food, and professionalism are beyond matched. Sofi is very understanding and easy to be around. The place is quiet and beautiful. I felt safe and not judged, loved like it was family caring for me. I highly recommend Zen Recovery surgical aftercare for any surgical procedures. You cannot go wrong choosing this business.
Sophie was very attentive. She created a calming and relaxing environment for me during my short recovery. The meals were great and the environment was very clean and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this facility!
I hate writing reviews, but I had to share my experience. There is so much I want to say but I’ll focus on the facilities, the overall care, and the food. 1. The facilities are amazing and exceeded my expectations. The place was extremely clean and decorated nicely. The bed was very comfortable, and she provides a nice quality orthopedic bed wedge pillow set that allowed me to sit up as much as needed and elevate my feet. When I was calling around to other recovery homes most only had a recliner and the set up that she offered was much more comfortable. When I was picked up from the hospital there was a wheelchair in the car if I couldn’t walk the distance from the car to door. She has a chair to sit on in the shower if you’re not able to stand up the entire time, and the bathroom is equipped with sanitizing wipes, baby wipes, pads, and EVERYTHING that you may need. 2. The overall care was excellent! From the moment she picked me up from the airport to the moment she dropped me off it was all about making me comfortable. Sofie is very professional and knowledgeable. She took my vital signs daily, made sure I had my meds, milked, and emptied my drains. She was literally there 24 hour a day for whatever I needed. The care and attention to detail is second to none. 3. First, let me say that I’m Pescatarian but 85% Whole Food Plant Based and I’m very picky about the quality of food that I eat. Goodness gracious the food was amazing!! I was contacted a week prior to my arrival to get a list of things that I wanted to eat. She OVER DELIVERED!! I kept telling Sofie that I thought she was lowkey a Chef. Not only was the food extremely flavorful but the presentation was restaurant quality. Each meal was made fresh to order whenever I was hungry, and she did not skimp on the quality of the food. If you are looking for great luxury aftercare that allows you to sit back, relax and simply focus on healing then Zen Recovery is the place for you. Definitely deserving of 5 stars and I would give it 10 stars if Google allowed it!!
I was skeptical about going to another recovery center because of my past experience; however, I decided to give Zen recovery a chance because of my doctor’s (Dr Mohan at Ciaravino beauty) recommendation. The decision to stay at Zen recovery was the best decision I have ever made. The caring and support I received from Sophia was the best I have ever been given. When you see 24/7 care, that is what you receive. She knows what to do and how to do it, no matter what you need. The attention she gives is top notch and will surprise you when you get there. The food is like you have a gourmet chef cooking for you. The views on the website do not do the views justice. The ambiance is more than amazing! If you ever have the need for a place for recovery after surgery, there will be absolutely no regrets for choosing Zen recovery. If I have another procedure in the Houston area I will definitely come back to Zen recovery.
I can’t thank Zen Recovery enough for taking care of me after my surgery. Sophie was so sweet and had an amazing bedside manner. The food was fresh and so delicious. My husband sends his regards and said he could not have done a better job and was so thankful that I was in your care. This was the best decision we could've made for post-op care. If you’re going into surgery in the Houston area, I highly recommend you stay here afterwards. It’s so worth it.

Zen Recovery was an absolute pleasure. I enjoyed the food and the cleanliness of the facility. I was a breast augmentation patient, my doctor referred me and I will be coming back for my next procedure soon. This is the Greatest recovery house hands down!!
My stay at Zen Recovery was great and I highly recommend it! Staying here let me focus on recovering and let my spouse concentrate on taking care of kids. Sophie is caring, knowledgeable, a great cook, and is fun to hang out with which made time fly by. The suite is pristine and has great views of the city. She provided transportation to and from the hospital which was one less thing for me to worry about.
