Zen recovery was recommended by my dr. Dr. Balinger. She is amazing. Cheery, a great companion when you need it, professional services when it comes to cleanliness and comfort. The food is healthy, nutritious and soo good. The best care in a lovely setting. I highly recommend her. You will be n the best hands at a time you need it most

A Great Experience!! A very thoughtful and compassionate staff that provided an awesome experience for my fiancée the significantly aided her recovery ... My Fiancee can’t stop thanking me for providing this recovery aide to her after her mommy tuck and since she is so happy I Highly recommend this service to all the ladies and gents who wants their ladies to have the best post surgery care!

I am writing this review on my last day while I look at the beautiful view. The Pictures do not lie. Sofia took me to my surgical center and was there to pick me up after surgery, honesty do not remember much, I remember getting in the bed her RN was there taking my vitals and getting me settled in, Sofia and her R Nurse were so caring and through with me. Unfortunately the pain meds that were given to me by my Dr., did not agree with me, I was not able to keep anything down, Sofia was right there rubbing my back and holding a pillow over my incisions. I received new meds and an IV for hydration Sofia was there the whole time. Just like an angel. She had compression boots on my feet to keep my circulation going. By day 3 I was eating and moving around. I have NO regrets coming to ZEN Recovery. The food was so good, Sofia keeps everything so clean, your bathroom, bed and the kitchen. She does everything with a smile, you feel like you have a new friend, every meal always so good, I found my self wanting more but the tummy said no. There is such a peaceful vibe here that your body, soul and mind will heal at ZEN. If you have the opportunity to stay take it. Can not Thank Sofia enough for having such a wonderful place here in Houston.

Thank you Zen Recovery for the absolute best care anyone could ever ask for! From the very first phone call, Sophie made me feel like I knew her from years prior! I felt right at home when I arrived. The food prepared everyday was delicious! Attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed! The views from the private condominium where to die for! We were near downtown, the museum district, midtown and the galleria! I could not recommend Zen Recovery more. Sophie went above and beyond! I highly recommend!

THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Clean, delicious high protein food served in bed or at a community table. Lux suites with private bathroom. Not to mention Sophie is a gem. I would recommend this facility to any woman undergoing an elective procdure. The only con, you might not want to go back home :) Thanks Sophie!!!

Great place to recover after any surgery. The care was outstanding, and every meal freshly prepared and delicious. Sophie and her team are responsive to your needs throughout the day/night. Can’t say enough about the views of Houston! Great experience.

WOW!!!!!!! Where do I start??? From my very first conversation with Sophie I knew this was going to be an amazing experience! After my surgery I was picked up in a luxury vehicle and taken to a beautiful suite with the most amazing views of Houston. Sophie got me settled in and made me a delicious lunch so I could have food in my belly before she gave me my meds. She helped me change my bandages and took great care of me. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer because recovering from surgery is no fun but with Sophie by your side feeding you amazing meals I felt like I had my Mommy taking care of me! I'm can honestly say you will not regret booking your recovering stay at Zen!

Sophie, who runs the place, was sweet and genuine, and the facility was clean and well-organized. The food was excellent, and whenever I needed anything, Sophie was there to help. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who is having any surgical procedures in Houston.

These people discriminate and pick and choose who they want to help. I recently had surgery and contacted them so that I could have a place to go to recover. I let them know that I had breast repair surgery. Someone decided to send me an email stating that they could not accommodate me, as they prioritize clients who have recently had surgery. That means that you will accommodate someone like me, but not me, for whatever reason you have chosen to discriminate. On top of that, I called before I received the email and left a message stating that I’d recently had surgery as well. They couldn’t even give me the courtesy of a phone call. They sent it via email, and even suggested I go to the er. To recover from breast surgery. Lol! The thing is, you have to watch who you handle any kind of way. I am already someone who could afford to buy the entire facility if I so chose to, so to respond to me as if because of who I am my needs are different from the next person’s, is totally insane. The facility is suppose to be a nurturing environment post surgery. A place where you can thrive in your healing. A place where you can care for yourself and be cared for without interruption of distraction. You can’t provide that if you’re discriminating against people based on what? My voice… Or how minimal you feel my needs are? My husband is an attorney, and he will have a field day with this. You can not deny someone a service, seemingly stating that you don’t provide it, while stating you provide the same service you’re telling them you can’t offer them to others. Edited: The response I’m getting is based on lies. I had surgery Wednesday the 15th. And that’s exactly what I stated. I also did not say I was not taking my medications. I said I should have someone else managing them to ensure successful healing and recovery. The same reason that I would need rest, another thing that you should be able to expect from a surgery recovery center. I also stated that the environment that I am in is not the proper environment to be in to recover from surgery- which is at home with my 4 children. Who expected to take care of them because I am home. So again I say, you chose to deny me services that you stated you provide to others. Now I will add that you are being deceptive in your response to my review as well. I most certainly did contact my surgeon, and they informed me that they would do everything they needed to do to help me navigate through this. They, like myself, saw no reason for me to be denied care. Period.
