Sophie is amazing! At Zen Recovery I had the right level of care including nutrition that really helped me recover quickly. I loved that is was like being at home plus extra care and attention!

My surgeon’s office recommended Zen Recovery and I’m so happy I chose to stay here. Sophie is gracious, polite, and there for all your needs. She drove me from my hotel to my surgery and then picked me up and took me to her lovely, immaculate, modern suite. She prepared tasty nutritional meals, reminded me when to take my meds and helped me with anything I needed. I had a large queen electric bed so I was able to keep my head propped up and she has plenty of pillows and wedges to accommodate your recovery. My room has an en-suite and a large smart TV with Netflix, Prime etc. plus she has a call light for ease of reaching her. She was with me the entire stay. She also has a wheelchair which I needed the first few days. If I ever have the need to come back to Houston for surgery I’ll definitely stay here again. I can’t praise her enough!

Girls, look no further! This is your place to recover post procedure. I am from Colorado and needed a place to stay because I was traveling by myself (sans kids!!) and Sophie took such good care of me. Her spotless recovery center and delicious meals made me feel so comfortable that I didn't want to leave! I will be hopefully be staying with her for my secondary surgery. THIS IS YOUR SURGICAL RECOVERY CENTER! Staff is helpful and very responsive. I would give 10 stars!

I can’t say enough GREAT things about Zen Recovery Surgical Aftercare Recovery Home!!! From my first interaction with the owner, Sophie, online it has always been professional and pleasant. Sophie truly cares about her patients and her business! The home is sooooooooooo clean you can eat off the floors. All white decor and furniture show you just now clean the property is and it’s refreshing and tranquil! I stayed here for 7 days and Sophie and Sheila have become family to me! The meals prepared were insanely delicious and nutritious! The bedroom was so inviting and the shower was everything! I encourage anyone needing a recovery home to choose Zen!! You will NOT regret it!

What an amazing experience! I stayed a week at this luxury recovery aftercare. All my needs, wants, and request were met. The place was always clean and my caretaker was so caring yet professional. I have very specific eating habits due to having gastric bypass and being lactose intolerant. I need to eat small frequent meals and I cant have anything greasy or too sweet amongst other requirements. They accommodated me. My snacks and meals were portion appropriate for my small stomach. Plus the food was delicious. I didn't have any family support in Houston but my caretaker made sure I had everything I needed and that I always was comfortable and my medical needs were met. I'll be back when I have my next procedure.

Sophie took great care of me, again. This was my 2nd time with Sophie; she was just as great as the first time, from getting me to the surgical center to bringing me back to her place, which is relaxing, clean, and calming. She made sure I was taking pain meds on time so I did not feel any pain, she washed my clothes and change my dressings. The food is tailored to you and the presentation of the food is on another level. This is not just a recovery home this is a whole, vibe/experience. If you have the chance, do stay at this establishment is just GREAT for your body and spirit.

I stayed at Zen Recovery for after my MMO. I had alot done and Sopie was there for me helping me in middle of night because I was in pain. She is amazing she will go with you to post op appointments and wait for you. I'm glad I chose this recovery home. Like they say you pay for what you get. This is a luxury recovery center with the best food too that she cooks. Thank you so much Sophie for taking such great care of me. 💞

I had a couple of procedures done. The care, food, and professionalism are beyond matched. Sofi is very understanding and easy to be around. The place is quiet and beautiful. I felt safe and not judged, loved like it was family caring for me. I highly recommend Zen Recovery surgical aftercare for any surgical procedures. You cannot go wrong choosing this business.

Sophie was very attentive. She created a calming and relaxing environment for me during my short recovery. The meals were great and the environment was very clean and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this facility!

I hate writing reviews, but I had to share my experience. There is so much I want to say but I’ll focus on the facilities, the overall care, and the food. 1. The facilities are amazing and exceeded my expectations. The place was extremely clean and decorated nicely. The bed was very comfortable, and she provides a nice quality orthopedic bed wedge pillow set that allowed me to sit up as much as needed and elevate my feet. When I was calling around to other recovery homes most only had a recliner and the set up that she offered was much more comfortable. When I was picked up from the hospital there was a wheelchair in the car if I couldn’t walk the distance from the car to door. She has a chair to sit on in the shower if you’re not able to stand up the entire time, and the bathroom is equipped with sanitizing wipes, baby wipes, pads, and EVERYTHING that you may need. 2. The overall care was excellent! From the moment she picked me up from the airport to the moment she dropped me off it was all about making me comfortable. Sofie is very professional and knowledgeable. She took my vital signs daily, made sure I had my meds, milked, and emptied my drains. She was literally there 24 hour a day for whatever I needed. The care and attention to detail is second to none. 3. First, let me say that I’m Pescatarian but 85% Whole Food Plant Based and I’m very picky about the quality of food that I eat. Goodness gracious the food was amazing!! I was contacted a week prior to my arrival to get a list of things that I wanted to eat. She OVER DELIVERED!! I kept telling Sofie that I thought she was lowkey a Chef. Not only was the food extremely flavorful but the presentation was restaurant quality. Each meal was made fresh to order whenever I was hungry, and she did not skimp on the quality of the food. If you are looking for great luxury aftercare that allows you to sit back, relax and simply focus on healing then Zen Recovery is the place for you. Definitely deserving of 5 stars and I would give it 10 stars if Google allowed it!!
