ZEN RECOVERY-SURGICAL AFTERCARE

Zen Recovery came highly recommended by my surgeons office for post-surgery recovery. I was looking for a service that could help me with transportation from the surgery center, monitor and assist with my early wound care, and provide meals plus transportation home after my stay. Zen delivered all this and more! Zen had only 5 star reviews and it was obvious that truly care about their clients’ wellbeing. I am so glad that I picked Zen because I felt safe and well taken care of throughout the process - from booking to follow up after leaving. Staying at Zen was the best decision I made towards my post-op recovery. Pampered at every step of my early healing journey, Sophie was professional, very experienced, and delivered top-quality care. Lodging was at an upscale highrise apartment in the Houston Museum District area. The apartment was spotless and well stocked with wound care medical supplies. I had a comfy adjustable bed (along with a recliner in the room too which was helpful) in a private bedroom and bath, access to the kitchen and living area - everything I needed to recover comfortably. Sophie was an easy conversationalist and a great cook to boot! The food was excellent and healthy, and Sophie took all of my dietary requests in mind. I would recommend Zen to anyone during the recovery process. Five Stars All Around For Zen Recovery, Highly Recommend!

Zen Recovery and Sophie far exceeded my expectations. The space is beautiful and immaculate. Sophie is professional, kind, caring, clean, neat, and as sweet as can be. I was so nervous coming from LA being so far from home and away from my husband and kids for the first time in 13 years! Sophie made me feel so at home and eased my mind. She was more than just a caretaker, at times she felt like my mom, my sister, and my best friend. I highly recommend Zen Recovery for what is such a vulnerable time. You will be in the lap of luxury and the best most capable hands with Sophie at Zen.

I have stayed at other recovery homes before and Zen Recovery is by far the best. Sophie is the best. She is so sweet. She gives 24 hour care with a smile. I needed help at 2:30 am and she responded very quickly , not bothered at all. Very different from the treatment that I received at another recovery home. She changes out your dressings over your wounds. Helps you with your medication. Sophie cooks amazing healthy meals. I would have loved to stay longer just to eat some more of her cooking. Sophie accommodations are amazing, pure luxury . The suite smells amazing and is so clean. ( SO CLEAN , CLEAN, CLEAN) Cleanliness is very important to me. Sophie suite gets a A+ from me in cleanliness . I didn’t want to leave my bed because it was so comfortable. The bedding felt so clean and soft like you’re covered in soft clouds. Sophie is so sweet that she even did my makeup for me the day I left. If I ever need to stay a recovery home again, Zen Recovery is where I want to stay.

Personally Zen recovery was a wonderful experience for me. My surgery wasn’t a major as most patients but I knew I needed a few days care, help with medication schedules and a quiet peaceful environment. Sofia creates an atmosphere where you feel like you’re with your most loving relatives home. The place was beautiful done, clean, incredible bed set up (hospital bed adjustable but luxe). From our phone call I could tell that she was caring and runs a legitimate facility. I would absolutely recommend her to any woman who is having surgery and needs extra care.

Zen Recovery is an incredible aftercare facility and I've been recommending it to everyone I know. From my first call to set up the reservation Sophie was prompt to reply and answer all my questions and address my needs and concerns. I was promptly picked up upon release from the hospital and Sophie took excellent care of me. Her facility is comfortable, luxurious, and well-appointed. The building has stunning views of downtown and very nice common areas to take advantage of. She is an excellent cook and a conscientious and caring provider. She is also just fun to be around, which is important when you are spending several days with someone! The level and quality of care I received at Zen Recovery reflects the dedication and compassion that Sophie has for her patients and has put into her business. I highly, highly recommend Zen!
