I was faced with an aftercare situation after elective but major surgery. The care that I received from The team here was absolutely second to none. I truly felt more like a pampered guest, then a surgical step down patient. I could not believe the amount of service and luxury I received, and it just so happens to be that their cooking staff is among the best in Houston. Getting surgery is generally not recommended in my book 😂, but if it’s gonna happen, this is absolutely the place that you want supporting your aftercare. ❤️
I typically refrain from composing reviews; however, I feel compelled to take the time to document this experience, as it marks my initial encounter with plastic surgery and utilizing a recovery facility. As a practicing physician, I encountered an adverse event—low blood pressure, leading up to loss of consciousness. Zen adeptly identified the situation and assumed control, serving as my patient advocate when I was unable to advocate for myself. It is my hope that sharing this will assist others, as this process can be quite overwhelming. From the pre-surgery conversation with Zen Recovery, it was evident that she possessed comprehensive knowledge and provided valuable information. I firmly believe that without her assistance, I would not have navigated my recovery process successfully. The facility exudes a tranquil ambiance, offers delectable cuisine, maintains high levels of cleanliness, and provides attentive care. Zen Recovery SA demonstrates remarkable compassion and attentiveness to all individual needs. I wholeheartedly endorse ZRSA, particularly for individuals undergoing multiple procedures, as the support they offer is indispensable.
I have received the best care at Zen Recovery! Sophia is by your side during recovery easing your mind. She also helps you physically and makes the best gourmet meals. I don’t know if I could have made it at home without her!
I had an amazing 3 day stay at Zen recovery. Sophie could not do enough for me. Not only is she an amazing caregiver, but also an amazing cook! The food she provides is fresh and clean, just what is needed after surgery. The facilities are 5*, everything spotlessly clean and sterile also with amazing views of Houston. Going to Zen recovery after surgery meant I had time to recover peacefully before going home to my kids, I’d definitely do it again if I were to have surgery in the future. Sophie is so easy to talk to and I didn’t once feel uncomfortable after just meeting her. I felt like a left gaining a friend!
I did a Google search to find a place to stay in Houston and found this place on the first day. Sophie, the owner, welcomed me warmly with a smile on her face. However, when I needed more care and attention after my surgery, it was a horrible experience. It seems like she's bipolar! While she treats me well at times, she also makes faces, making it obvious that I was bothering her. When we went to take a shower, my scar started bleeding, and she blamed me. And the food? Beautiful but full of sugar and fat! I don't recommend this place!
I came all the way from Dallas and spent five nights here!! Looked at other recovery homes and I’m so glad I decided to stay here. My Doctor recommended me to stay here and the food was so good here I didn’t want to leave. I felt like it was my own mom taking care of me, everyone and everything was so clean and professional. I would stay here again and recommend anyone coming to the Houston area for surgery to stay here!
I would give Zen Recovery Surgical Aftercare 10 stars if I could! My post operative recovery there was so relaxing, private and luxurious. The gorgeous suites are immaculately clean and Sophie takes care of absolutely everything (gourmet meals, transportation, 24 hour skilled patient care) so all you have to do is rest and recover. My time there was worth every penny and I would highly recommend Zen Recovery to anyone looking for top quality surgical aftercare.
Staying at Zen recovery is the best gift you can give yourself! The place is absolutely gorgeous and Sophie is SO knowledgeable and sweet. Her attention to detail made me feel comfortable and safe. If you have any doubts, consider it an investment in your results and just do it! I’d give Zen 20 stars If I could!
The perfect place to recover! I was so impressed by the level of care and service, it was incredible. The staff is simply amazing! They were prompt and professional. Always attentive to my needs and the food service is top-notch! The meals were delicious, nutritious and beautifully presented. Overall, I highly recommend Zen Recovery. Zen recovery is an oasis of plush care. My accommodations were beautiful, the food prepared was delicious and healthy. My meds were given to me on a schedule per my doctor. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. It was definitely worth it!!
