It's difficult to reach Resident Services and no voice-mail answers phone. Maintenance is slow, may need to hire more techs. I like it that the workers have several golf carts to stay mobile and there is a great Woman Groundskeeper I see daily. It's a great location in Newark, many stores and restaurants within walking distance.

I would give a zero star if I could because they don’t even deserve a one star. Worst management you could ever see. It takes them months to fix something in the apartment and you would have to call and remind them every single day just to come and fix it and sometimes they don’t even answer your phone calls because they know exactly why you’re calling them or they might just hang up on you. They send a very short notice to empty the parking lot when they have construction working on it and it’s not their fault if your car gets towed because you’re out of town. They keep the trash until it’s flooded and it’s everywhere next to compactor. The trash room is always full and flooded. They raised their prices up to 30% and nothing is improving. Not recommended at all.

Super unprofessional. I am looking to move in to Mariner Pointe Apartments in Joppa,MD. I filled out an application online on 9/30 and within a matter of minutes, i received an email stating everything looked good they just needed a few more items. I sent it over to them but had a few question due to something needing to be filled out but the link was not provided. I called the rental office everyday since then including 5 times today!! No one answered, the mailbox is full. The email provided does not work. I use to live here a while ago and it was never this bad but now, this is awful. **Update** If you look at the comment below, they stated to reach out to them. HOWEVER ... it took them another few days to answer the phone and the was super rude over the phone cause i told her i had called multiple times over a few days. I even drove up there yesterday and even though they said they were open, there was no one around. SMH

Normally when you see angry reviews you think the people are crazy. But living in Franklin Commons In PA I believe all the stories! I have had terrible communication with my office, over 4 months of no contact for apartment walls that are bowing in and have insects coming out of them. Disgusting right! Franklin commons quality went down hill ever since AION bought them out! Stay away from AION Properties unless if your fine with no communication and lack of quality!

This is the worst place to live. When I moved from this place....a year later I get a bill for sweet and water. A year later??. When I was there the office is unprofessional. They take a long time to fix things and when they did come or was not fixed right. If you move in the security bond dies not seen good at all to go with. Paying the security deposit will be a better move.

My son and his family live in the Wellington Apts in Hatboro,Pa. They are the worst. They have been without heat since last Tuesday, the night of the first freeze. And all they get from the office is excuses. They gave them a small space heater that is worthless. Their toaster puts out more heat. People have been complaining about the girl in the office and nothing is ever done about her. I’m figuring that she must save them money in repairs and make money on the rent. People have been complaining about not having heat and EVERY DAY it’s a different excuse. It’s supposed to get cold again this weekend. And from what I understand residents have complained to this corporation and still nothing is done. I told them to call the news channels.

We live in an Aion Management property here in Indianapolis, and it’s single handedly been the worst apartment experience I have ever had. The health department is at our complex multiple times a week because of all the complaints about this place. At one point I was emailing with someone from Aion and they just quit responding all together. We moved in on October 13, 2021 and we still do not have working outlets in our bedroom, and the health department has given them 2-3 citations from our unit alone… I can only imagine how many others. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve numerous problems that have just gone unresolved for MONTHS. We recently had to put in a work order that our AC doesn’t work and no one has addressed that yet, so I’m not looking forward to the summer months… to say the least. I can’t speak for all of their properties… but the ones here in Indianapolis are terrible.

They do not answer demand letters nor care about the residents. No call to corporate is returned. Even legal documentation is not responded to. Check out their rating on BBB. I HAVE CALLED THE CORPORATE NUMBER MULTIPLE TIMES AND NO ONE HAS RESPONDED DESPITE MULTIPLE OPEN CASES. So the business response is automated. Until I hear back from a person this review will stay here.

Too bad there isn't a minus star rating. I would give Aion a minus for sure. I have been living in my apartment for 15 years and since Aion has acquired the property it has gone down so much. We have in our courtyard area, a patio that has lights that are supposed to go on at night. However, most of the bulbs have been out since April. I have requested that they be replaced, but they just ignore it, or I am told that it isn't in the budget. Usually the leasing office both outside and inside are decorated for Christmas. There are no decorations in sight. I again was told that Aion would not give money to pay for decorations. It gets better, as tenants we pay for all utilities, water, sewer, gas, heat and hot water. Aion bills us on a statement showing what we as tenants owe them for these items, but they provide no backup for the charges. According to the NJ law, Aion is supposed to show the tenants what THEY are paying so we can see that we as tenants are reimbursing Aion, and that Aion is not profiting from these charges(which is illegal in NJ). These people cannot be trusted and run a shady business. DO NOT move into any property they own.

If I could give zero stars, i would. The communication is terrible!!! My husband and i have lived at Meridian North apartments since last October. The past 4 weeks we have been out of our apartment because of poor management and poor maintenance. NO AC, we had electrical surges for three weeks, so no refrigerator, had to throw out ALL of our food. Nobody even offered to compensate us for anything. On top of all of this there is MOLD in the utility closet due to a water leak that we had asked to get fixed multiple times! I am pregnant and cannot be around that! I could not even get them to give me the cooperate phone number. We have been couch surfing and are over all the stress and being ignored. At this point, we just want to move out and terminate our lease. My husband waited two hours to talk to someone today after already having a scheduled appointment at 11:30. If something is not done in our favor we will be contacting the health department and a lawyer.
