Edit 2: 0 response or follow up ever. They care more about profit than people, no surprise there. Edit: Given their recommendation below, we've tried calling and emailing. I was hung up on when I called and they've ignored our email, so they clearly don't care about our concerns. They made a lovely apartment complex unliveable and miserable. Avoid their properties at all costs.
The super just entered my unit without notice I was surprised that he only announced himself when he noticed I was home he said he was inspecting my apartment. I have lived in this apartment since 2013 and never have this happen. It’s an invasion of privacy couldn’t complain because more often than not there’s nobody in manager’s office.
- Maintenance is a Complete Disaster If you’re considering moving into this complex, don’t. The maintenance team here is completely unresponsive and ineffective. I’ve had multiple unresolved issues for months, including a broken washer and dryer, a broken window, and a bathroom sink that backs up every time the washer (tries to) drain. These are basic livability issues, and nothing is being done. - I’ve submitted maintenance requests multiple times, with no resolution. When the maintenance team does show up (which is rare), they leave behind a mess and still don’t actually fix anything. It’s all performative — they show up, pretend to fix things, and leave you with the exact same problems. Phone numbers for the office and maintenance? They don’t work. No one answers, no one follows up, and you’re left in limbo. I’ve spoken with several maintenance staff personally, and it’s always empty promises with no action. No accountability. No urgency. No basic respect for residents. - This is more than just a minor inconvenience — it’s complete neglect. If you value your time, money, or peace of mind, I highly recommend staying far away from this place.
Awful management - my work orders are cancelled the same day I put them in. Had roaches so I keep requesting exterminator/ they were here 12/9 but need to come back as the roaches came back. Also when I Moved in the washing machine was moldy and they kept saying they don’t smell it. It’s an epa issue - it’s very prominent mild smell and causing sinus issues w migraines. Told it’s not in the budget for this year - yet I saw a stack of them in the maintenance garage. The onsite leasing management office doesn’t take calls and keeps closing at 12 pm . They sent emails saying they are closing at 12pm . It’s quite disturbing. All of it
Unsafe, Neglected, and Mismanaged — Don’t Live Here! I've been living in Unit for over three years, and what I’ve experienced at this Aion-managed property is completely unacceptable and, at times, dangerous. Let me break it down clearly: My central air conditioning repeatedly breaks, especially during heatwaves. As I write this, my unit is 88 degrees, and I’m on high blood pressure medication. I submitted a maintenance request immediately and followed up by phone — still, no one came. Maintenance is a joke. I submitted a request over three months ago after a section of drywall fell in my bedroom. They showed up, started the job, left their hammer sitting in my windowsill, and NEVER came back. The drywall is still exposed. I have washcloths stuffed in holes around my apartment because I believe that’s how mice are getting in. I’ve purchased mouse traps myself to try to manage the issue — and I’ve even submitted photos of droppings to management — but still, no response. No pest control is ever scheduled or completed, despite multiple requests.Vents have never been cleaned seasonally. They are full of dust and debris — again, I’ve documented this with pictures because maintenance doesn’t respond. Trash is often overflowing outside and never properly maintained If you go into the leasing office to ask for help, staff hide or act like you’re being a problem for speaking up. I’ve been yelled at just for asking about the status of a repair. Even when rent is paid, poor communication results in false charges or credit judgments, and they’ll blame you for it instead of acknowledging their mistakes. It’s clear this property is only interested in collecting rent. They do not care about tenant safety, health, or quality of life. Tenants are treated like a nuisance, not customers. I am attaching photos of my thermostat, vent condition, mouse traps, and unfinished drywall to this review because the local office refuses to take responsibility. Avoid this property at all costs. Aion Management does not care about residents. I’ve stayed quiet for too long, but no one should have to live like this.
AION taught me a valuable lesson to always check the management of the property before renting a place. Truly the worst management company I've seen so far. This year our apartment was without power for more than 8 days during the storm. The management had no idea what is going on (because they are never at property), had an audacity to send everyone an email on the 2nd day of the month that the rent is due (while the power is still out). Few years ago our unit had hot water issue due to cracked pipes, took them 6 months to repair because they wouldn't pay for the repair. In this Thanksgiving, I am thankful that they sold the property to different management. I hope I never see you again. So much for a "management" property.
I wish I could give 0 stars. No security cameras, so when cars were broken into and rent checks were stolen from the Dropbox, they can't help. (Both incidents that actually happened,I have a case open with the police). Took them a MONTH to fix the leaking water pipe in my ceiling. And now have forced residents to use a new payment app (Active-Building) that is charging a $31.59 "CoNvEnIeNcE FeE". Not to mention their definition of "remodeled" is slapping white paint over everything, including the bathtub 🙃 Definition of slum lords. Do not tell me to call your corporate line, because I have, and you never called me back. Its been well over a month. !!!!please move anywhere that isn't managed by this company!!!!!
Horrible experience. Heat out for long periods multiple years in a row. Works 1 hour a day. They pass out portable heaters but demand them back. Cold water for showers. I am not a wimpy guy and understand it takes a lot of manage properties but this is beyond giving grace and benefit of the doubt. Their contractors can't fix our building in a timely manner as they are busy fixing the heat out in other sites. Example of corporate greed run amok if I had time we need a tenant union and building wide rent strikes.
Dishonest company. The most dishonest company I have spoken with in a long time. I strongly recommend that you not live or do business with any company that is managed by this institution. They will ignore the law, charge you for things that didn't happen, and then threaten legal action to obtain the money. Seriously. They will lie to you. They will ignore you. Move somewhere else.
Very disappointing experience with Aion Management. I moved out in December, and as of today, I still have not received my security deposit check. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, the issue remains unresolved. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is extremely frustrating. There has been no clear explanation, no proper follow-up, and no urgency in returning money that legally belongs to me. This experience shows a serious lack of respect for tenants. I would not recommend Aion Management to anyone looking for a reliable and responsible property management company. I expect this matter to be resolved immediately.
