If I could give them 0 stars, I would. DO NOT MOVE INTO ANY OF THEIR PROPERTIES. We gave them a chance and they have completely screwed us over. Our apartment was supposed to be move in ready on July 1, 2024 when we signed the lease. Not only was it not ready, but even to this day they are still repairing areas of it. The place was filthy, the old tenants items were still in the unit (no one has yet to come get them), there was no smoke detector, every single panel around the light switches were missing, the kitchen counter tops were peeling, the washer and dryer are held together by duct tape, and there was a huge hole in our bedroom wall. We have been dealing with this for over a month. They breached our lease and refuse to give back a single penny. Not only will they not return our deposit, but they are now trying to charge us $3k as if we never paid the first month of rent. The property manager won’t even get in contact with me despite the leasing office notifying them of our issues on multiple occasions and me personally calling them. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place to live.
I CONTACTED A LAW FIRM, I WAS HARASSED LAST NIGHT BY SOMEONE WHO DIDNT TELL ME WHO THEY WHERE BUT KNEW MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM THE ALDEN, I HAVE BEEN THREATENED AND HARASSED, AND I WAS TOLD I NEVER PAID A BOD OR SECURITY DEPOSIT, NEWS FLASH I WOULDN'T HAVE LIVED AT THE ALDEN FOR 15 MONTHS IF I DIDNT PAY SOMETHING, AND I SENT MY BANK INFORMATION TO SHOW WHAT THEY ASKED FOR IN A BOND OR SECURITY DEPOSIT, YUP I PAID IT AND I SENT IT IN 4 TIMES TO THE AION AND THE ALDEN AND EVERY DEPARTMENT I HAD AN EMAIL ADDRESS FOR BUT HERE IT IS THEY DONT HAVE ANY DOCUMENTS AT ALL, BUT I HAVE THEM AND THE EMAILS I SENT EVERYTHING TOOOOO, NOW THE OWNER WILL COME ON HERE AND LEAVE A MESSAGE LIKE THE OWNER DID FOR ALL THE REVIEWS, BUT THE SAME THINGS ARE STILL HAPPENING SO IS THE OWNER DOING ANYTHING, HE WILL LEAVE A NUMBER FOR U TO CONTACT AND I DID CONTACT THE NUMBER, AND CAN U BELIEVE ITS ONLY ONE GUY IN THE CALL CENTER, I MEAN ONE MAN, ANYWAYS I WILL SUBMIT EVERYTHING TO A LEGAL TEAM, BECAUSE THE NUMBER THAT CALLED ME LAST NIGHT WANTED ME TO SEND THEM ALL THE PROOF AND MY BANK STATEMENTS AGAIN, I DIDNT FEEL COMFORTABLE SINCE THEY DIDNT ANNOUNCE WHO THEY ARE, AND I WAS SUPPOSED TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS TO A UNKNOWN PERSON, BUT THATS WHAT THEY WANTED ME TO DO AND I HAVE EVER TEXTS MESSAGE FROM LAST NIGHT SCREENSHOTS OF IT, SO IT WILL CLEARLY SHOW THEY KNEW THINGS ABOUT ME, AND THEY WANTED ME TO SEND PERSONAL DOCUMENTS TO SOMEONE WHO COULDN'T IDENTIFY THEMSELVES, WOULDN'T THAT BE ILLEGAL, ANYWAYS IM HERE TO HELP OTHER TENANTS AND MAKE SURE THERE NOT HARASSED OR THREATENED BY AION, AGAIN I SUFFER FROM PTSD I BEING OVERSEEN BY TRAUMA THERAPIST, AND BEING VIOSLATED AND HARASSED AND THREATENED TOWARDS, DOESNT HELP SOMEONE WHO IS SUFFERING WITH PTSD, PLEASE HELP ME HELP U, AND OTHERES WHO FEEL THEY WONT BE HEARD OR HELPED.......... NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO HARRASS OR THREATEN OR VIOLATE SOMEONE, AGAIN I HAVE TRIED ALL I COULD TO GET SOMEONE TO HELP, BUT I CANT DO IT ANYMORE, I HAVE WROTE NUMEROUS EMAILS AND HAVE ALL THE EMAIL ADDRESSES, I WOULD COPY THEM ALL IN SO THEY WOULD BE FORWARDED TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE, AND NON OF MY EMAILS CAME BACK SAYING WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS, I just hope they have the documents because could u imagine if I submit all I have and the Alden or AION doesn't have anything I sent, how will that look, I mean it will show the emails went through , i mean it's clear someone is getting them, but I have a problem that I sent a bank document 4 times and there's no documents supporting that I ever sent any proof of my bond or security deposit, I sent it 4 times meaning I still have just that one proof still out of all the rest I have, good luck everyone, please stay tuned to see the owner reply, but u call the number he provides, u will get only one guy who runs the whole department, I mean he said he was the only one there I have his name, anyways I'm in a panic attack because I read all these reviews and how the owner could do this to everyone is beyond me, but NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO KEEP THE BOND OR SECURITY DEPOSIT, ITS THE LAW OF PA, GOOGLE IT..........
Total garbage company. I applied for an apartment and started getting strung along as if I was going the apartment and had gotten a tenant portal login and a few other emails that made it seem as if we were moving forward in the process and was told that we had to pay a $791 deposit before we could move in. So I paid the deposit not realizing that my application wasn't finished processing and almost immediately after making the payment I got an email saying that my application was denied for "insufficient credit history", but I have an excellent credit score and met the income requirements so I don't understand why I was denied in the 1st place. On top of being denied for no reason I've been waiting for a response to have me deposit refunded and have been completely ignored and disregarded for over a week now. If you are looking for a good or decent place to live with respectful, honest, and responsive staff then I recommend going absolutely anywhere else because these people are scammers.
Personally one of the worst companies I've ever had the unfortunate opportunity to rent from. Moving out almost a month ago now I have still yet to receive my previous security deposit despite them stating it takes 2-3 days to receive it. This I would normally be ok with but there is no one in the company you can talk to. There is no contact number for their office. When the number was contacted the agent said multiple times the only thing they could was submit a complaint and had no way to provide an email or even a corporate address if a lawyer wanted to reach them. I still have yet to receive any callback after 3 different time reaching out so at this point and with glaringly bad reviews I'm starting to wonder how much of this company really exists.
Former Renter here. I just moved out (from a property in pittsburgh) and knew I would be paying a lease break fee which is fine, I understood that but to be charged almost double is asinine. 1. While living there, if I had an issue I constantly was waiting, the longest issue lasted the term of my time living there. 2. The amount of bugs that were in the place that didn't start appearing until after a month of living there. They did nothing about them, except for 2 occasions. 3. They make you pay an "insurance" when you move in, for any damages after you move out but yet they still charge you for any damages. 4. I ended up moving out on a weekend: Official lease termination day was 4/30/22 which was a saturday. I called the main office and asked if I can drop off the keys that day (4/30) to avoid any fees since I would be extending my lease, and they said sure, that is fine. I ended up getting charged for those 2 days anyway. 5. Throughout the whole lease they charge you for things you don't know about and when asked about it they tell you "you need it to live here" when all it seems is like another bill for absolutely nothing. (I understand getting charged trash pickup, or other utilities through them if you don't have said utility.) I was being charged almost 200 to 300 dollars over, a month for random things that I couldn't say no to. 6. I ended up getting charged post almost double my rent amount because of "cleaning","late fees", and "damages" that "insurance" didn't cover. I can not speak for all account or situations but this is mine.
I called this place and spoke to Bryan. I asked if they accepted section 8 vouchers. He assured me they did. Though very nice, Bryan was always waiting on his "manager" to approve or provide him with guidance. I did go see the apartment, applied and paid a $200 holding fee. Shortly after I kept getting the "I am waiting for my manager" line..Then I was told they would just refund me my money. I still haven't gotten the refund, Bryan ignores my calls and texts and the corporate phone number is an overseas call center. There is no legit corporate phone number. It is my belief that I have been discriminated against due to my section 8 and my money stolen. This operation is very shady..Supposedly, everyone is new and there are no functioning offices. STAY AWAY!
Applied for an apartment with them. Had to put a $200 refundable hold fee. Was denied the apartment and told i would get my hold fee back in 7-10 business days, it has been a month and a half. They will not return my calls. There is no direct phone line to speak to any one person, just a general phone and email that goes to everyone. This maybe a scam business. Be very careful dealing with these people. When I do get through to someone they tell me their payment processing system is down and has been for over a month. Hard to believe that a business could go over a month without being able to receive payments or pay their bills.
One of the most disgusting property managements ever. Never in the office, never pick up calls, turn off boilers during cold temperatures, turn down maintenance requests, bumping rents as they like, change policies whenever they feel like and don’t inform the residents about it. I can go on and on about them in the time I’ve had them as our property management team. The team before this when I took up the spot in my community was very good, only for us to fall prey to these guys now. If you see these guys as the management team at a property- make sure you avoid the property completely. If possible, I’d give them no stars, but google reviews doesn’t work that way, I guess!
Do not rent from this company. They took over the apartments where I've lived for many years and it's been a nightmare. They raised my rent nearly 500 dollars. I retired and am living on a pension and this company basically made my savings disappear. They charge for everything except breathing air. They put lipstick on a pig. I haven't had a door on my bathroom for years. They haven't done any repairs on my apartment at all. It seems they're trying to force me to move out and I can't afford to because they've made me spend all my savings on all the extras. This company is disgraceful and greedy. I was retired and had to go out and get a job after years of planning and preparing for retirement.
Certainly! Here's a polished and professional yet sarcastic review based on your experience: --- AION Management: Setting the Standard for Disorganized Excellence KIf you're in search of a leasing company that delivers a seamless blend of miscommunication, inefficiency, and total disregard for their customers, look no further than AION Management. My recent experience with their Orchard Park location in Edgewater Park, NJ, was truly one for the record books. It all began with my $280 application and holding fee—an investment, I was assured, would be partially refunded if my application was denied. Imagine my surprise when my application was denied instantly (efficient in the worst way, I’ll give them that) and the refund process spiraled into a masterpiece of incompetence. I waited five days with no updates, calls, or emails—just radio silence. Finally, after a week of persistence, I reached someone who assured me my refund would be processed to the card I used. Oh, how naïve I was to believe that. Five days later, still nothing. Another call revealed they had supposedly already refunded me, which my bank clearly confirmed was not the case. After filing a claim with my bank, I discovered the pièce de résistance: the check had allegedly been mailed to an address I’ve never lived at. This, despite my correct mailing address being on the application. Kudos to the hotel staff I temporarily stayed with for confirming no mail has arrived I'm my When I tried to address the issue in person, things got even better. AION Management has apparently mastered the art of selective amnesia. They “don’t have” a corporate office phone number, are mystified by the concept of the bank they use, and provided me with a “reference number” that was nothing more than proof of the payment I initially made—useless in resolving my issue. As someone on a fixed income, I take financial matters very seriously. Unfortunately, AION Management seems to think it’s perfectly acceptable to mishandle customer funds, obfuscate the refund process, and dodge accountability at every turn To anyone considering renting from AION Management: bring patience, a robust sense of humor, and a thick skin—need all that.
