Dr Hawkins for my first visit contained me with soft pleasant understanding. Very thoughtful. I feel I've been blessed with my journey to find a Dr with such great character. Who I believe I find trust. I highly recommend giving Dr Hawkins and staff a try. Phyc's are difficult to find with all that's happened in our society. I have been going to Ascend Medical for about one year now and they are very attentive in making sure that I have all of my questions answered and that I'm satisfied with my visit; as in not feeling rushed out of the visit, my doctor remembers me personally and some of the things I've talked to her about. That makes a big difference to me when your doctor actually listens to you. If I do call the office there's never a long wait and the staff is prompt, courteous, and professional; and when promised you will hear back from them you don't have to worry about them not calling you back, unlike any other doctor's office I've ever used. I recommend them 100%
I have been so pleased with Ascend Medical and my virtual visits with my doctor, Dr. Hawkins. I travel a ton and their virtual options are perfect. I feel like they give me more time than I get even with in-person visits! Their staff are so on top of things as well, especially Keri, who I work with the most. She is always so pleasant to talk to and quick with recommendations or referrals. I really recommend Ascend, their staff, and their virtual offerings!
initially, everything was great. The doctors were easy to work with. The medicine came fast. Everything was awesome. I was told that I was only going to be charged for the fee upfront, but after I stopped the plan, my card was charged again for 100+ dollars I have been calling and messaging and trying to get a hold of someone to explain why they charged my account again when I did not continue the medication and I have not heard back from anybody. I would not recommend them simply for the billing issue alone because I need someone that I can trust with my money and my health at the same time.
Ascend provides an amazing service. Their staff, from receptionists to the care team, are all courteous, professional, and approachable. They make self-maintenance accessible and easy. Meghan Deters has been my provider for several months now and she listens to my needs and responds quickly to any inquiries that take place outside of a scheduled appointment. I highly recommend her and Ascend Medical. .
