I had a awesome experience with Ascend Medical they are very prompt with the setup appointment time. The medical employee Celine was very patient and understanding when she took in my information. My Doctor named Peter Whatley was very knowledgeable in his field of expertise I felt very comfortable opening up to him. He gave me a sound resolution in a continuing health plan right from my place of employment on a video visit it was just as good as a being at the hospital, the copay with my insurance was very reasonable. I highly recommend Ascend Medical the video visit is free especially when your too busy to get to the hospital and it's no charge like other video visit with a providers that usually have a set costly fee price.

I love this practice. I love my PCP, Dr. Nassary and her Assistant Ms. Robin. They listen to my concerns and we come up with healthy plans to meet my goals without creating health issues. I’ve found what I’ve been looking for.

Dr. Sarah Peterson is the best. She has the best bedside manner and actually listens. She doesn’t do what’s easiest for her, but rather what’s best for the patient. If you describe symptoms outside of her specialty, she and her staff do the work for you in regards to locating the needed specialist in your area and will send the referral for you. She doesn’t just throw you on medications and leave you there. Each follow up is met with questions and she records every bit of the data you give her. I’ve been with her nearly a year now and I can honestly say I trust her. Full transparency, I have disorders that left me with with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and bipolar disorder, a result of two brain surgeries due to hydrocephalus. When the local doctors here were too scared to even touch me, she wasn’t. I wasn’t treated differently, dismissed, any of that. She treats you like a human being and that means everything to someone like me. Her staff is pretty awesome as well. Never met a rude one. My favorites are Shelby and the young lady that does my billing. All in all, I am TRULY satisfied with the help I receive from Ascend medical. They gave me a chance when I had to change doctors after my former doctor in Jacksonville started caring more about her convenience than my mental health. I like to wait a few months in order to give a fair and honest review, and I must say, I don’t see my opinion changing any time soon. Glad to be with Ascend Medical as a patient! 😊

New to GA and the anxiety of having to transition was high, however the medical staff were so patient and most importantly, communication was very good. I’m so happy that my mom is under the care of Ascend Medical staff. My experience exceeded my expectations and the ability to have several options to accommodate patients were a bonus. Thanks for making us feel apart of the team!

Jung was very professional and efficient. She went over health meds, made notes and gave medical advice on kidney health. Jung personality put me at ease and it was pleasant answering all of her questions over the computer instead of sitting in a doctor’s office. Jung is an ASSET to Ascend Medical.

The providers, if you can actually book an appointment with them, are fine. However, the office management is unorganized and irresponsible. I've had multiple critical appointments canceled, twice due to the doctor suddenly separating from the company and numerous other times for reasons unknown. This was especially egregious after I was discharged from the hospital and Ascend abruptly canceled my insurance coverage, leaving me without care for months with a high risk condition. Billing is a mess. And the fact they could never send my prescriptions in correctly was just the icing on the cake.

I would give 10 stars if that were an option. I’m a new patient and saw Kristen Oliver as my provider, and it was undoubtedly the most competent, professional, and proactive medical experience I’ve ever had. Her level of attentiveness and swift action was second to none. It’s so rare these days to meet providers who truly care, take the time to get to know their patients, and follow through thoughtfully in their care journey. Kristen exceeded all of my expectations, and I look forward to being a longtime patient of hers. Thank you to the team at Ascend!!

Dr Nassery is one of the most compassionate doctors Ive ever seen. She spends however much time a patient needs and is attentive and gentle. Her nurses are also lovely.
