By far the best AVIS rental car services in the Chicagoland area. I am a regular car renter & frequent this location. I have been more than satisfied with the quality of cars available & the employees at the service counter are always happy to answer any of my questions, going the extra mile to make my experience as enjoyable as possible.
Nester (employee at this location) was really rude and snappy for no reason when I went to pick the car. Bad experience. It was like he was doing us a favor by giving us a car. Very disappointed.
Yesenia the Manager is the worst! She talks down to you, and offers no type of customer service. I rented from multiple Avis location through out the US and Yesenia was by far the worst person to work with . She over charged my account multiple times and offered no assistance to correct the issue. I received my vehicle with no gas and returned it with more than half a tan, and she charged me a full tank penalty, even though I explained to her that I received the vehicle with no gas, and showed her pictures to prove this. She ignored it and charged me!! I had to get my credit card company involved. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION.
Nester is awesome!!! The initial return location closed exactly at 5 and did not have after hour drop offs. Nester helped me out big time and he was literally just a few blocks down :) thanks!!
Vehicle had broken Media USB port - zero possibility of wired or wireless Apple CarPlay - was not disclosed to me during pickup. Vehicle stated it was -(2,250) miles past due for maintenance. Vehicle had low-to-no wiper fluid - had to ask for this before leaving. Additionally: Beware that AVIS policy is to NOT accurately bill customers when returning a car early. I returned my car 2 full days early from planned expecting a corrected charge on the receipt. I am being charged for the full term. Enterprise/National does not do this; they only charge for the time you rent the vehicle. I frequently rent and this is my first experience with Avis. I will not use or recommend any Avis location and continue to use the excellent LaSalle st National/Enterprise location - avoiding Avis entirely.
LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT “JUANA” SHE IS THE DOPEST ANGEL ANYONE COULD ASK FOR SHE HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR AND ACTUALLY WANTS TO HELP!..SHE HAD WAITED AT WORK PASS THE TIME SHE GETS OF JUST SO I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY A EXTRA FEE…She Is God Given!!!…..And JUANA IF YOU SEE THIS ITS JOSHUA! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥 And She Has Done this Multiple Times Might I Add!!
