I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Avis. Nestor, who was on duty, was so incredibly patient and polite with annoying people on their phone instead of paying attention to his questions. Not only did he work well with me, but he was extremely professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this location.

I lobbed a hail mary at this location on a last-minute rental on a busy holiday weekend when everyone else was booked solid. I should have just tried here first. They had a car for me, which they upgraded at no cost, and it couldn't have been easier or a better experience. Service was great and efficient, car was clean and in great shape. Price was better than average for a loop car rental location. Absolutely nothing to complain about, which is frankly pretty rare when you're renting a car. I'll be back to this location without question.

Besides the fact that everything went very smooth with getting a car, the customer service I received weekly from Nester & Juana needs to be talked about! When you’re trying to make things happen and then good people be good to you it helps to make your personal things way less on you and that’s what they did for me. Every time I came through with a problem or any situation they would help me to the best of their abilities and 9 times out of 10 they were able to help. I Really Want The Company To Know I Really Appreciate These 2!!
My reservation was at the Chicago Downtown location. At first, the agent, Nestor, told me his system could not process my Washington State driver’s license and that he needed manager approval. I waited over 45 minutes until he finally received approval from his manager confirming that my license was valid. Afterward, Nestor asked me to insert my credit card for the rental total plus a $200 deposit. However, I noticed the charge was more than $100 higher than the confirmed reservation amount plus the deposit. When I asked him why, he said he didn’t know and asked me to accept the unexplained charge. I asked again for clarification, since it made no sense to accept a higher amount without any explanation. At that point, Nestor suddenly told me he could no longer help me and refused to provide me with a car. In the end, I spent nearly an hour at the rental facility, only for Nestor to cancel my reservation without my consent simply because I declined the unexplained extra charge. As a result, I was left without a car, and my travel plans were delayed. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with Avis.
I rented at the Budget/Avis location at 335a S Franklin in Chicago. The service was excellent. I found the staff extremely welcoming, professional, efficiently and speedy Pick.up.and drop off was very easy. I like how they did not pressure me to buy insurance on the car. I would certainly rent here again.
I reserved the car, made payment and showed up to the rental. After I showed up, they told me that I was slected for random screening and they refused to provide service to me because I don't have second form of identity, which is passport. If you are planning to rent a car, please bring your entire office with you, unless you won't be able to rent a car.
Juana provided outstanding customer service! She was incredibly patient, accommodating, and professional throughout the entire rental process. She made everything easy and stress-free. I’ve rented from this Avis location several times and have always had a great experience. The team is consistently friendly, efficient, and helpful. I highly recommend the Avis location at 335A S. Franklin St. if you’re looking for excellent service!
AVIS had to cancel due to no cars but called back after cars received. Local office handled very well.
