I have had to deal with The Composite State Board of ME of Ga for years. I have always been nervous because you can never reach anyone or get a response. I know, they have been going through some changes and moved. However, this experience with Natalie Williams has been the absolute best. This woman knows her job and is extremely responsive and above all, she is courteous and very professional. So many things have changed that we as providers may not know and it can delay paperwork and approval, which is very frustrating. But not with Ms. Williams. I am not sure if you can choose who gets your case or file, but if you can, get Natalie Williams.

I was due to renew my license in April 2023 and after following the directions listed on the website, I was still lost. I reached out to Ms. Natalie Williams via email and she walked me through each step. I have had to submit documentation to the board this past April, as well as this week, and Ms. Williams has been the biggest help on each occasion. She has responded to every email and provided timely updates. She has also been available via phone several times. I know that the GCMB is extremely busy and I want to thank Ms. Williams for her professionalism and overall positive attitude.

Had to call here because I went to renew my DEA license and they informed me my protocol agreement was not listed on the website as being approved. It was sent 3 YEARS AGO and the fee was processed but the approval is non existent. Can't get anyone on the phone, to return an email. I have called every number and email for anyone listed on this site. NOONE CALLS BACK OR ACKNOWLEDGES anything. And I cannot get a renewed DEA license without it. Absolutely ridiculous and frustrating.

Ms. Stewart handled my APRN protocol agreement. She was so nice, explained the process, and went above and beyond to make sure I received it in time to get my DEA license to start my job. Just a heads up that if your last name begins with A-I, the GCMB is backed up but they’re doing their best to get the agreements processed. Also I saw on their website to go through the portal to submit the agreement and $150 fee. Thank you Ms. Stewart for helping me!

I contacted Ms. Katonya Reynolds with name change request for an existing license and it was done with in 15 mins and the icing on the top is that it was done via email. Excellent and exceptional service. Initially the matter was pending for a month because I was barking the wrong tree. Take away note: research where you query should go. Board is short staffed as most of the government facilities so long wait time is new normal.

I have gone to the medical board in Atlanta twice to speak with my licensing specialist about approving my APRN protocol agreement I need to perform neurotoxin injections. This is after 2 months of waiting for and seeking approval through calling and emailing the office. Since meeting with them in person, I was informed that it would be successfully approved. That was over 2 months ago. Now, there is no licensing specialist even listed on the website for people with the last initial from A-I. What happens to our protocol agreements now?? I can't even get in contact with anyone because nobody answers the phone. I have been waiting for a total of over 4 months and have received no sign of my protocol agreement being approved any time soon.

I submitted and paid for my Senior Laser license application BACK IN MARCH and it STILL says PENDING! I have called without getting a call back and sent multiple emails without a response or the mailbox is full. It has almost been 6 months! This is unacceptable!

5 stars for Natalie Williams and Alayna Parker! These two have been so helpful with all licensing and protocol inquiries under this new system. They are quick to respond and exceed expectations every time. Thank you ladies! You are both a huge help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been trying to renew my license for the last month and am extremely frustrated with the lack of response and empathy from anyone working at the Georgia Composite Medical Board. Many phone calls and requests have been not helpful at all. They have converted to a new online system that does not have my license (which I have been using for the past 28 years) available in my Gateway for me to renew. I cannot renew a license that is not in my account. Reaching out to Ms. Angelique Carter has gave me minimal help, as she said that my concerns were forwarded to someone who can help, though it is still not showing up in my Gateway. She has not called or emailed me back and I am still cannot renew my license to work. I have called their phone number many times and tried different extension, and it all just goes unanswered. I have left many messages with these different extensions and still no one has called me back or offered to help. Their new Civic Request system is even more of a joke. I have sent a different request each day and shown screenshots of what my Gateway looks like, and the response I get is to log into my Gateway and set up a profile. I AM LOGGED INTO MY GATEWAY and my profile has always been correct. It just doesn't show a license that I can renew! I am so frustrated and don't know what else to do. This is a license I need to work, and am that someone with any compassion or empathy can call me back and help me. *** Update *** Mr. Jason Jones, the head of The Georgia Medical Board, reached out to me on a Sunday, an hour after writing this review and helped me renew my license. Turns out the new system had one digit of my Social Security Number wrong, and was the reason my license did not show up in my Gateway. After a couple nice emails, Mr. Jones found the problem and corrected it. He was very nice and apologetic that his staff was not helpful. It would be awesome if everyone in his office was as kind and compassionate. Thank you again for helping me, Mr. Jones!

Ms. White provided exceptional support during the licensing process, which can be quite complex. She consistently made things easier by clearly addressing all my questions regarding the required documents and the application itself. Her professionalism and kindness were truly appreciated
