InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown by IHG

Stayed for the weekend and it was truly amazing! From the food to the atmosphere, it is everything you want from a luxury hotel. Bryan A. was the best too! Bryan A. was so personable and made us feel so comfortable in a place we were completely unfamiliar with! Had really great conversations with him. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!

Unless you are really looking for a place downtown stay away from downtown. Surroundings are full of homeless and drug addicts all day and night. It’s very scary. The hotel itself has two things that I really didn’t like. Room service is only until 10pm so if you come in from a late flight or a long day of work you have to order uber or go out and walk among the creatures of the night. And the other very annoying thing is that to get to your room you always have to go up to the lobby on the 70th floor, switch elevator and come Down to your room. It is really bothering. I was on level 31 and the elevator coming down is soooo slow. Other than that food is ok although very expensive and so are the drinks. But it is what it is. But because of the things I mentioned I Wouldn’t stay there again. One good thing Yo mention… staff is super friendly and rooms are good size and bed is very comfortable.

The hotel is spectacular with a 70th floor sky lobby. From the checkin to the text to check on my stay, wonderful customer service. The architecture and finishes are stunning. The gym with saunas, spectacular. Pool and landscaping gorgeous with olive trees in bloom. Just a warning though that there are three sets of elevators. One for the first 7 floors and up to the 70th and then you have to switch to a second elevator to go to your room. My ears pop with each ride.

If you’re looking for a 5-star hotel experience with attentive, thoughtful staff, a fabulous club lounge with a delicious hot breakfast, and a quiet, serene, well-appointed room, please keep looking!! Front desk staff, including the manager, say one thing and then do another. To their credit, they apologize profusely, offer various excuses, and attempt to make things better, but ultimately make the situation worse. The city views here are fabulous, and the proximity to LA Live is a huge bonus. Nonetheless, with so many 5-star hotel options in DTLA, do your own research and choose accordingly.

Best hotel in DTLA, even over the Ritz Carlton. I have been here over 10 different times now and with the exception of 1 time all have been great. The 1 bad time they told me the suites were all sold out even though I paid in advance for the room. If you get the right side you can see the Dodgers stadium at night too, but any view from the suites are pretty at night.

We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. The hotel environment is excellent—modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. The fitness center is also very impressive, with high-end equipment and great facilities. What made our stay especially memorable was Manny Ayala. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming every time he saw me and my child. One day, he even took the time to explain how the hotel’s exterior glass is cleaned. My child was fascinated and kept talking about it afterward. It was such a thoughtful interaction that made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Thank you, Manny, for your kindness and professionalism. Experiences like this are what make a hotel stand out. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Los Angeles.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. Brianda made our check-in super seamless and went over every amenity with us with great detail. I thought it was extremely kind when I would see Brianda throughout our stay, we would smile and wave to each other. She really takes care of her guests! We got to enjoy some perks, since my friend booked through Chase. We made sure to enjoy a few drinks at the Lobby Bar and up at Spire73. It was quick and easy to change our reservation time when we needed to. The view up there is incredible and just throughout the hotel itself. We stayed on the 51st floor, which I experienced no issues with during our stay. The hotel is located in a great spot downtown, where it's easy to walk to the convention center or if you need to find any restaurant outside of the hotel, there's plenty of options around. It's worth it to grab breakfast at the hotel though, especially if you sit by the windows for a view of the city. Thank you again Brianda!

This hotel was great for the 4th of July. From check in to check out everyone was great! We Rented a cabana and had the best experience with the staff. They treated myself and my daughter wonderfully. Terrell, Andrew, Blair, Carlos and Josh were all amazing. They helped me celebrate my birthday in style. Thank you to all of them.

When first booking I had called in an spoke with shemar, they were amazing with great detailed information and helping me with booking. While checking in I had Brianda who was very helpful and even showed me the lounge and all the great amenities I have with IHG. The service is 20/10 and it will not disappoint. I booked this for my husbands birthday weekend and they have gone above and beyond. They set out a bottle of champagne for us as well as a welcome birthday cake. I’ve never stayed here and this is our first time and I love love the service and it’s definitely an experience. The view is absolutely amazing. I will be staying here again!!!! Thank you for making this weekend one to remember!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Intercontinental DTLA. From Marvin, at the front desk taking care of our needs, to Conrad at concierge team. We feel blessed. Jackie, Carlos and Kyle made us the best drinks in the lobby bar, as we watched the FIFA World Cup in the spacious 70th floor lobby. The views were exceptional. Amy and Shemar were also kind. I am very impressed with the customer service here. The warm smiles made it all the more pleasant. Thank you All.
