just checked out this morning and the weekend stay fri -sun was AH-MAZE-ING! Rooms have it all! the nespresso machine in the room is a PLUS. Beds are comfy! Shower AND tub, OH YEAH! We had room service 1st night and it was delicious and eating in our comfy room was a plus! The hotel location albeit downtown is so accessable to outside dining and lots of shopping. Coffee shops all over downtown. We walked to the tourist / art district and visited museums. Everything central located. We visited the rooftop spire lounge twice. drinks are great and food is VERY good. I think our server was JERRY and he was so great and attentive and informative when it came to ordering. I could go on and on but you get the drift. I cant wait to return!

5/5 Stars – Exceptional Service for Our Anniversary! We Will Absolutely Be Back. We recently stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and the outstanding service from the team made it a truly special occasion. First, a huge thank you to Ariel in Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to secure us an absolutely amazing room upgrade for our celebration. It set the perfect tone for our entire stay. We also cannot say enough great things about Meghan at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful from the start, taking the time to ensure we understood all of our premium amenities. When we ran into some frustrating maintenance issues with the steam room and sauna not working for three days, my wife brought it to Meghan's attention the next morning. Meghan handled the situation flawlessly. She connects incredibly well with guests, listening with genuine care, and she immediately stepped up to resolve the issue and make things right. Her charisma and top-notch customer support completely turned our experience around. Meghan's professionalism is the exact reason we will absolutely be returning to this property. She is an incredible asset to the team and deserves a promotion! Thank you to the wonderful management and staff for making our anniversary so memorable, we look forward to our next visit.

We had an amazing experience as soon as we walked through the doors. Especially being helped by Steve at the front desk who gave us a great wedding day upgrade and complimentary drinks. The junior suite was even more amazing plus the views from 3 sides of LA…..WOW! Is putting it lightly. Thank you for the experience for our little wedding day getaway.

Our second stay during the Thanksgiving weekend for 4 nights with family visiting from overseas. We are return customers after a great stay last spring. Excellent, professional, and welcoming pre-arrival communication with the concierge team. Evening arrival at the hotel parking (enter from 7th Street), proactive help from the friendly valet staff. Check-in process very smooth and quick at the 70th floor lobby. This is the tallest building on the entire West Coast! Amazing upgrade to a full suite (see below for room details) on a high floor. Awesome corner views of DTLA and the megacity. Nice welcome gift of a big plate with fresh fruits. We had access to the Club Intercontinental Lounge (6:30am to 10pm) with various food and drinks presentations daily, but also dined at La Boucherie (separate review) and the lobby lounge. Another perfect stay at this luxury hotel. A big shoutout to Ariel, Samy, and all the staff we interacted with for an unbeatable hospitality and customer service. They truly know how to retain customers. Highest recommendation, we'll be back! My usual points & miles tip: multiple stacking of benefits and discounts possible (I count at least 5).

Such a beautiful hotel!! I was met with such kindness and professionalism from Luis at the front desk, he started my stay on an amazing note! Breakfast was included with my booking, which was delicious. The steak and eggs were great! The gym is very big with all the equipment you could need. Great stay overall, this will be my go to when staying in LA.

I stay here very consistently for work, and they treat me incredibly well. Service is top tier, any issues are resolved quickly, and each stay is very comfortable. I feel very welcomed every time I arrive, and am always sent off with kindness … in particular by Jereal, who greets me by name each day with great energy and positive vibes. Highly recommend!

Spent one night here in town for a World Cup game and had an excellent experience. Rooms are modern and clean, and the hotel has a beautiful 360 view of the city from the lobby and sky bar. What makes this property standout is the service. They were kind enough to extend our stay long past checkout time when our flight was delayed. Special mention to Alberto at the front desk who was incredibly warm and welcoming. The only downsides as some reviews have mentioned is the high cost of valet parking and the homeless surrounding the hotel (unavoidable as it’s located downtown(. We were able to avoid the parking costs by parking in a very affordable garage across the street - recommend using spot hero to locate the many reasonably priced alternatives in the area. Pro tip - make sure to workout here. By far the nicest hotel gym of any 5 star hotel I’ve seen anywhere in the world. Completely full service including sauna and better equipped than some actual gyms.

I had a fantastic stay at the InterContinental! The hotel is excellent and the location is perfect, making it very convenient to get around. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. I also want to give a special shout-out to Steve at the front desk; he was incredibly kind and helpful with everything I needed during my stay. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely stay, everyone was so welcoming and helpful from room service to housekeeping, front desk and lobby attendants. One gentleman, Jereal at the front door went above and beyond by walking around the block to help my Lyft driver find his way to the pickup point. He actually rode with him around the block so I didn’t have to call another car. Elevated experience all around and very thoughtful.
